   Had a really lovely time! Sat in the booths close to the kitchen in the evening and the noise level was fine. Got the tasting menu with mocktail pairings and flavours were really great. Fave mocktail was the Kyoto Summer (tho Romance Dawn was a close second just for the One Piece reference) and fave dish was the cod, it was perfect. Used to get kickass rice bowls all the time from their food truck Le Tigre pre-pandemic and I'm so happy I finally made it here. They also brought us an extra dessert as it was my partners birthday. Would go back!

   My partner and I enjoyed the chefs 7 course tasting menu. It was fantastic. The flavors were simple and fresh but eclectic. The food was well presented and the service was excellent. The portions for 2 were very generous. We both left Torafuku satiated. The decor is contemporary bordering on industrial. The music is at a nice volume allowing for good conversation but maintaining a lively atmosphere. The non-alcoholic drinks pairing was complimentary and very fresh in its flavours. The price point is fantastic especially considering the portions and food quality. I highly recommend Torafuku and will be back again.

   Overall ok experience at Torafuku. First time here for dinner - ordered the torafuku sour to start as my cocktail. I came with a friend and we decided to order a la carte. We ordered the kale salad to start and I got the cod for my main, and she got the pasta. The kale salad came out pretty quick and it was super tasty! Loved the shallots on it. However, we then waited an hour for our mains. My reservation was 6:30pm and I didn’t get to eat the cod until 7:40pm… the wait was quite disappointing as we were sitting and staring at the kitchen. However, the food was good. The flavors were on point and it was cooked well.

   We loved the ambience and finding a restaurant that was calm and easy to have conversation. That food was fantastic and loved the creative expression of the chefs. Wonderful flavour and presentation. It was also so cool that chef or sous chef came a brought a dish. The server was lovely and helpful. Would highly recommend this place!
