Service was slow but friendly, but great food!

The service was great. I didn't like the ambiance of the room, it was cold and bright. The lights were too bright for evening service. The menu was disjointed, the cheeky names didn't make sense with the vibe of the room. The food was ok. I didn't understand a sushi roll that wasn't served with soya sauce. In general everything was fine but not great considering the price. Why do so many restaurants not use finishing salt? It's so easy and elevates dishes. I wouldn't go back because this place just isn't for me but I'm sure others are happy with it.

It was our first time dining at Torafuku! Everything we ordered was exceptional from the get in my belly, everyday I’m brusselin, magic mushroom to gone fishing! Will definitely come back for more!!!

Amazing. I would eat here every day but then again this is more special. The flavors..... it takes an artist and a scientist to mix east and west with such precision.... and also north east and south east and different parts of east. In such a coherent and interesting way. Sophisticated. Delicate. Those Brussels sprouts!!! I would give it a Michelin star if I could. Chefs like this one need to be recognized and supported by the community at large because they represent innovation balanced with tradition —-> the future of food.

We had the tasting menu and they customized it by creating a pescatarian menu. Every dish was an amazing experience in my mouth. The freshness, zing, quality, flavors and feels... blown away! We had the Lucky Dumplings, Dynomyte roll, Get in my belly roll, Everyday I am Brusselin, Druken Kraken Salad, old Man in the Sea, Magic Mushroom and Gone Fishing. Everyone was my favorite but honoarable mention to Gone Fishing! The cocktails! Oh yum again. Service was efficient and friendly. I will be back for sure!

Amazing food and great atmosphere! A little loud if you get a table that is unaware there are others dining around them. Servers forgot we were there twice and we ended up sitting for quite some time but even though that happened, I would absolutely go again. The food was to die for!

The food was amazing, but it is quite expensive for what you get.

Second time dining here in the same week. Food was not as good as the first time. We ordered the same after our first experience and it was disappointing. Shame as we were so impressed the first time. Was a different head chef @
- open kitchen so we could tell.

Came here for late night on Valentine’s. We were seated with a reservation and able to get drinks/ order relatively quickly. Food was quick & service was good. Very busy evening at the restaurant. Dishes were great and portions were a good size for sharing.

I took my boyfriend here for Valentine’s and we were sat at the bar. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively and overall we had a great time.

Food took long, ordered the 8 course and only ended up having the 6. Wagyu Beef Tataki was way too bland and the slices were too thick. Sushi Rolls were quite good and flavourful.

Food was great but staffs are not attentive. Definitely need some improvements on customer facing services, will go back for omakase.

The overall experience was great. The service was extraordinary. The staff were very friendly, approachable and accommodating. They tend to our needs. They were very knowledgeable about whats in their menu and drink.

Torafuku was outstanding on all fronts. Service, creativity, deliciousness, presentation, cocktails, wine, beer and sake. Cannot emphasize enough how good the food is. Everything I eat there is wonderful quite frankly. Great for sharing on a date night, and great for groups too. Torafuku converted my hubby from a non "Asian fusion" eater to having an open mind about it now because it was all so yummy. Thank you Torafuku!

We went during dine out 2020 and we were surprised about the small amount of food for its price. We had to share every dish and the portions were not enough for all of us. We all left hungry from the restaurant. The beef tartare was delicious with a hint of Asian flavour (sesame oil).

We love Torafuku and have eaten there many times. Over the years guests from LA have especially liked it!

The Dine Out Menu had a good variety of offerings. All the dishes were tasty & in line with their regular menu of lively flavors, fusion & nice presentation. I loved the salad included a section of romaine with the most divine dressing! The duck was delicious! The scallops were perfectly seared and the risotto was just a bit too cooked. for my taste. The humble pie & chocolate ganache were perfection! It was our friends’ first time to the restaurant & they were very happy with the meal.

This was one of the best thought-out meals my partner and I have ever had. We had the cocktail, beer, sake, and wine pairing along with the Garden Party, the Donald Duck, the Magic Mushroom, and Magic Stick/Milk and Cookie. Everything was delicious, beautiful, and timely! We left lightly buzzed, very full, and eager to come back! The staff were super attentive and didn’t make us feel rushed at all, even though they were very busy! I’m pretty sad our first time dining here was during Dine Out but it won’t be the last!

The 7-course tasting menu is a must, and I strongly recommend the drink pairing with it, which is as much part of the experience. Done it twice already and it’s been perfect each time!

Food that is appealing to all of the senses. Loved the dishware made by a local artist.

Dine Out Vancouver meal for 4. This is one of the best Dine Out experiences we have had. Great, very creative food with outstanding service in a cosy, if a bit austere, room. Will definitely be back. Fun place for a larger group.

Yummy! Would have prefer sitting at a table however as my boyfriend found the stool a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise the food was great, my favourite being the brussel sprouts dish

Our waitress was horrific, she insisted we could not choose our dessert because the kitchen might run out of the more popular choices. She then brought us the exact dessert we did not want, eventually we received the correct order.
We asked her to ask the kitchen about an ingredient in the risotto and she refused , when we saw the dish go by we absolutely could have ordered it. Luckily the food was so delicious even she could not ruin our meal.

We sat at the bar but no one offered to take our jackets cause there’s no where to hang anything.

Great food. We came here for dine out. Got to taste some amazing things but portions were really small so I was still super hungry at the end. But still great food and fun cocktail menu.

Food is good, not much of the service. We need to wait for three hours to finish our meal. The wait was too long.

Attentive service, delicious and beautifully presented food, great mixed drinks.

Enjoyed most of the food. Really good brusselling dish. The robata pork belly and jowl wasn't as good as hoped. Service was very good; attentive waitresses both times i went this month. Only thing i wish they could improve on are the type of seating. Not the most comfortable. Would recommend to friends.

First time going, it was a fun experience with a group. Service and food are great and the cocktails are impressive.
