    It’s been a long wait to obtain reservations at Topside and it was everything we’ve imagined. Perfect for social gatherings, dates of all kinds. Just excellent all around.

    overall everything was perfect, they just don't have a a good wine selection, we basically tasted all of their glass options (because we wouldn't risk on a bottle) and they were all just not good. Need to improve that,. other than that, place is nice, cozy, hipster, view is incredible.

    Way overpriced for the place. It is definitely not worth what they are charging for the food and drinks. Small portions, cheap wobbly tables, slow service besides the city view this place nothing special to offer. It’s a joke. I do not recommend and i will not be back.

    They didn’t honor the reservations they allowed us to make using this app saying they’re closing. I even called ahead to confirm when I was told by valet parking advised they were closing. Manager on the phone said they would be accommodating us but once up there advised they would not be … it huge waste of time

    Went with my husband for our anniversary dinner. We were seated right away, the drinks were great & the food was even better. We are the calamari & octopus appetizers & we had the seafood rice & sea bass. E wind definitely eat there again. The food was cooked very well & had a lot of flavor.

    This rooftop restaurant is everything. The views are spectacular. The decor is trendy and chic. Our waiter, Jeremy, was amazing. He led us to the perfect drinks and food. It was a very special evening for my friend’s birthday.

    I thought we had found a neighborhood gem, but I quickly found out that it is a pet friendly hotel. I don’t mind pets staying in the hotel, but I think it’s unsanitary to have them in the dining room while I’m trying to enjoy a meal. The pet that was allowed in the dining room had an offensive odor. My experience at Topside was ruined. I will never return or recommend to anyone.

    We went on Labor Day, there was only one server, Ryan for all of the seated tables. He did an excellent job, gave great recommendations despite the fact he was alone. There was a delay between our appetizers and our meal through no fault of his. We enjoyed our meal so it made up for the delay

    One of the best restaurant experiences I've had. Everything was great. From when I walked through, the door to leaving, staff was perfect food was delicious & the restaurant is beautiful - incredible view!

    Gorgeous views of Mount Vernon and beyond. It was quite loud during dinner, I think the space is just a bit echoy, so don't go for an intimate meal. But the restaurant week menu was great (get the short ribs!) and the service was wonderful.

    Overall it was the best experience from the minute we walked in the establisent. The food was superb five star all the way.. The drinks were out of this world . The hospitality was like no other.. Will definitely be returning sooner than later.. Job well done!

    Stopped in because we are thinking about having an event at the hotel and wanted to check out the kitchen. Turns out it was restaurant week! Fantastic deal for $55 (4 courses). Restaurant was at capacity and buzzing. Noise level is loud, which may or may not be to your liking. Specialty cocktails were diverse, creative and well made. I had the vampires blues which was a whiskey/scotch blend, cherry Heering, mist of Laphroiag, Salerno blood orange liqueur and cardamon bitters (I think). Complex, well balanced and not overwhelming. For dinner, we had the chicken w/Brussels sprouts, butternut squash purée and my companion had seafood rice (like paella). Chicken was super moist, Brussels crispy and generous portion of purée. Again well balanced and delightful. Seafood was reported as very good but there was some residual sand in mussels. Potato leek soup was tasty and not thick; perfect for summer. Passion fruit pannacotta for dessert topped ever Off nicely. If you like coffee, Topside has better than average and you get a generous mug of it. Overall, we were very pleased and are looking forward to planning an event. Chloe, (hope I got the name right) our server, was attentive without being overbearing. Always checked in with each course and delivered excellent service overall.

    Be prepared to either order from the regular menu or restaurant week menu. They will not let one person order from the restaurant menu and one from the regular menu. When we asked why, they stated it was because if the kitchen. I've worked in the restaurant industry and didn't understand this explanation. We've visited other locations where we were able to do this. The best dish were the ribs. It was really tender and the mashed potatoes were sooo good! I had the leek soup, it was okay. My bf asked for crackers for his soup. They didn't have any but they did provide us with bread (extra $3 charge). Cocktails were a little expensive, averaging $16 per drink. We were willing to spurlge since it was our date night. We also ordered an appetizer, grilled octopus. They were okay but my boyfriend was not a fan. The staff were very friendly and the view of the city was pretty.

    Best meal I’ve had and the whole place was picture ready. I wish I lived here because I would come all the time. Jeremy was an AMAZING server. Honestly the whole staff was great but shoutout to our favorite guy!
