    I wasn't going to go out of my way to leave this review, but since OpenTable emailed me, here we go! They "double booked" the hour I reserved online through OpenTable so we didn't get to go. Not sure why the other party got the room and we didn't. The gal who helped us asid she tried to call, but I only had 1 missed call from Iowa City and NO VOICEMAIL. I reserved online, you mean to tell me you couldn't get a hold of me? We were offered 1 free hour, but since I live out of town and made the drive to Iowa City to visit a friend, and got burned once, we may not even take advantage of that offer. If we do, I'll update my review. I'd say if you are going to go, confirm and re-confirm your reservation!!!!!

    The experience was good because of the people we had with us. But was very disappointed with the way the food and beverage service was handled. Basically food and drinks had to be ordered from the restaurant downstairs - and there wasn't really a dedicated person running back and forth for us. We ended up bringing our own drinks because it was easier. Just wasn't impressed.

    We really can't rate the dining experience or Top Golf because we didn't stay. The setup was so hands off that we couldn't figure out how to proceed. No attendant, no instructions, no menu. The area was a ghost town. We have used the Top Golf outdoor setting and although we knew this was a different set up, it was not at all what we expected. Top Golf will not do their brand any favors if this location doesn't change it's approach.

    Fun concept and new to this location. Games were fun but we were just in a room by ourselves so there was no one to help with questions and none of the menu items listed here were available - in fact there is no waiter or food service. If you want to order food, you had to order in the restaurant downstairs and that menu was VERY limited. Definitely NOT what’s advertised here .. but fun, so I think it will be successful if they work the kinks out.
