Food was good, view was good. Had a good time. I recommend the pork.
Meal went by very quickly beautiful setting
The service was very slow. 10 plus minutes before someone came to our table. Another 20 before our first drink arrived. Approx 30 min to get something on the table
Top of Waikiki offers the most tasty meal and excellent service, the chicken was the most tender chicken i have ever had, my friends also enjoyed their meal.
Everything was amazing!
Dinner at the tallest revolving restaurant in Waikiki. Great view but there are taller nearby buildings. Service was fast. Food was excellent. We had spaghetti with crab and steak. Baked Alaska for dessert was excellent. A little expensive but you’re paying for the view. Glad we went.
A must stop while in Honolulu. The food is great and the view is fabulous.
It was my first time there and it was truly a remarkable experience . Everything about Too of Waikiki was perfect .
The meal was a bit small (filet mignon) but it was damn delicious. Great view and perfect ambiance. Our server Hayley was amazing and made sure to stay checking in on us. I will definitely be returning.
Very nice place with a tremendous view. Food is OK but could be improved. Waiting staff is very good and they seem to be happy making you, the customer happy. Will be back for more!
The overall experience was amazing. The food was amazing! The staff was awesome. Definitely recommend this amazing restaurant!
Nice restaurant, great service, beautiful view. Food was ok nothing great.
Great restaurant with an incredible view. I would recommend this resturant to anyone. Ideal for dates.
Nice view we circled around about 2-3 times during dinner so we got to see the city, diamond head crater, and the ocean view/sunset. Dress code varied between some dressed very nicely to dressed down, we didn’t feel out of place because it was a pretty mixed crowd.
Food was great! We had the diver scallops as an appetizer which were so tender and we did the “top for two” that had a porterhouse steak, crab legs and lobster tails all which were prepared very well. The molten butter cake was delicious and the baked Alaska looked pretty but the ice cream was too solid in the center and made it tricky to try to eat. Our waiter and all of the staff were very friendly and attentive.
They snapped a photo that you can purchase as a keepsake that was pretty nice too. Definitely would recommend for a nice night out if you want a nice view and good food, and it had a good atmosphere so you can have a conversation without yelling over people or music.
We have been to many revolving restaurants -this was disappointingly the worst. First, we ask weeks in advance for a seat close to a window for what we thought would be a great view-instead we got seated on the second row with a table directly above us on the third tier -very awkward as they talked loudly and the man was constantly hanging his arms and hand down in our face. We requested to be moved and were. The view was horrible unless you like looking at rooftop parking lots. I made the reservation for 6 in hopes of seeing the sunset, instead we saw buildings blocking most of the ocean view. On the other side we we looking into apartments. The steaks we’re okay however unless you ordered the filet all sides were extra, so add $9 for each side on top of the cost of the steak. I ordered what was supposed to be their signature drink -overpowering -even is my younger days I didn’t drink drinks that strong.
For me a very disappointing as for this was a valentines date with my precious wife.
Beautiful views of the ocean, mountains, sunset, and the city. My husband and I enjoyed the garlic shrimp and seared ahi. Both were very delicious! Friendly service and free parking with validation.
Kacie, was a dear...truly excellent
The location is super cool and the idea of a rotating view is fun, but the food was pretty terrible. Not just OK, but like NOT good. The filet was over cooked as was the lobster tail. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant and the asparagus was missing the heads. The Huli chicken tasted really dry and couldn’t quite put my finger on it’s off flavoring. Caesar salad was a side salad... for $12 and tasted sour, like the lettuce was bad. Again, not good. The only saving grace was my amazing tasting Mai Tai. Oh, and my son thoroughly enjoyed his grilled cheese sandwich and French fries... I wish I would have ordered that too!! For almost $200 I would say the meal was no where near worth the value. Save your money and go down to Tiki’s. Better view and great menu. Would not recommend Top of Waikiki to anyone!!
Most memorable anniversary dinner to date. Everything was perfect.
The view was outstanding as well as the service. I read some reviews where service was a concern but we found it to be excellent. We had our reservation at 5 pm and arrived just prior, the doors open at 5 and we went up two escalators where they took our name and we were seated in just a few moments. (Don't be fooled by the amount of people waiting for the doors to open, there is a bar one floor lower with a Happy hour and most were waiting to go there.) The view was outstanding and as Waikiki lit up for the night it was quite good. My thanks to the staff, a very nice experience.
Nice place. Great view. Took WAY too long to get our food.. and it's overpriced.
I would go again. It was nice, the service was great and the ribeye was awesome. Contrary to what the waiter stated the mashed potatoes were not enough to share. Disappointing since I ordered them as a side. Aside from that the people were accommodating and the atmosphere was chill. I will also not that the seating is a little crowded.
The food was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive. However, booked over a month in advance and asked for a lower table to view fireworks and was placed at the highest table, where fireworks were not visible. Very disappointed :(
Wonderful view, tasty food, trendy ambience. A bit overpriced, but generally good value. Service could not have been more solicitous.
Had a reservation only to wait for 40 minutes. Probably lack of experience with young kids running the front desk. We finally went inside on our own to find multiple seats at the bar, tables, and everyone was just sitting in the foyer waiting.
Food, I must say, was impressive for the both of us. Someone in upper mgmt should have overseen the customer traffic flow more carefully. Why would they care if you leave they charge $95 anyway .
They seemed inadequately prepared for the Valentine's day rush. People with reservations were seated up to an hour after their reservation time, although we were seated about 30 minutes after ours. Once inside, the service was decent, but the wait times between courses was long, and I don't think it was worth the $95 per person in terms of amount of food given
Made a reservation for 8:15pm. Showed up on time due to fear of being charged for not being on time (they take your credit card information ahead of time and warn you that you will be charged if you are not on time). The lobby was full of people who also showed up on time and had not been seated. I watched several people show up after me and get seated before me, so I finally asked the Hostess and they immediately seated me. Rough start, but the Hostesses were all extremely friendly and accommodating and they gave us complimentary champagne while we were waiting. We were finally seated at 8:45, we did not meet our waiter until 9. He was friendly, but seemed very overwhelmed with tables. Most tables in my section only had water. We got our drinks at 9:20, and then he asked us if we had any questions about the menu and if we would like to put our order in, which seemed a little absurd because the menu was Prix Fixe (everybody eats the same thing). I did take this opportunity to order another glass of wine since I figured we would be waiting awhile. At about 9:45 the couple next to us were served their appetizer, they both took a couple bites and then set it down, not looking very happy at all. At this point My girlfriend and I decided to cut our losses and pay for our bill and leave. I ended up paying 46$ for 3 glasses of wine and was there for just shy of two hours with no food. We ended up going to McDonald’s, which tasted amazing by this point.
Staff was friendly, Operations were terrible.
Waited for 30-45 minutes after reservation. Food was pretty good. All and all not worth the cost.
The food was excellent; but the service was horrible!!! To service is everything. The waiter was running around trying to assist people and never acknowledge anybody that was sitting at the table. He was back and forth placing things down (silverware, water, etc) and never mentioned his name or made a pint to say “hey.” Food took over and hour to get to our table and that was after we stopped him and said something. I wouldn’t recommend it; and honestly don’t know if I would go back.
Beautiful restaurant. Portions are minuscule. Almost to the point of ridiculous. If you're looking for an experience it's worth going however I wouldn't be a repeat customer. Food did taste very good. Giant price tag for tiny portions.
Perfect end to our Valentine's Day and 12 day trip to Hawaii
Overpriced. You get more food from the kids meals than the main course which are like little samples and doesn't satisfy your palette. Appetizer was a tiny breadstick with salmon and cream cheese and other fluff, the fish plate was two bites worth, the beef plate I thought was going to be a legit steak not two very thin slices like that you would put into a ham sandwich, and the desert was ok- a tiny piece of cake with strawberries and whipped cream. There were no decorations showing that it was Valentine's Day for it being a Valentine's special dinner. The waiter only showed his face twice- once when he took our order and second when he processed our bill. $95 for no service, no -filling food, false advertisement for a "valentine's special", and a mediocre view of Waikiki. My surprise dinner for my wife and daughter turned out to be a disaster and a waste of my money.
Valentine's special dinner $95 per person, served with cheap butter fish and roast beef. Was told we only had 2 hrs to for our seat... after the last course, we waited over an hour for dessert and when we left, there were almost 12-20 couples waiting to be seated. Serious management problem, especially given the amount of staff/customer ratio... better off going down one level and just have a drink at the Sky bar
The views from the restaurant were amazing, the su set was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious. The waiter was excellent, even though he was busy on Valentine's Day, he made us feel like we were his only customer. Definitely will be back when we visit Oahu again.
Valentine’s Day Dinner!
The food was amazing and the view incredible. I will definitely come back when I visit Waikiki again.
We live in Honolulu and enjoy Top of Waikiki for special occasions. We had friends in town and opted to do dinner here, mainly because the views can’t be beat. The food and wait staff were excellent. My rating came down to 3 stars because the front desk staff is absolutely awful. We had a 545 reservation. I checked in at 515, and told them we’d like to have a drink at the Sky Bar because they didn’t have any room at their bar. We were told to come back at 545 (they don’t have a paging system). When we came back at 540, we were still made to wait 10-15 minutes for our table. This isn’t normally a big deal except the restaurant just opened at 5, and the restaurant was essentially empty. The snide, rudeness was a little over the top. We will warn future guests of this.
Beautiful atmosphere! Great food and drinks! A bit pricey, but well worth it.
We had a wonderful dinner and will come back again while we are visiting
