Located above the Hampton Inn Washington DC- Navy Yard, Top of the Yard Bar & Bites is a rooftop destination with monumental views of downtown Washington D.C. including exclusive views directly into Nationals Park, as well as views of the Capitol Riverfront, multiple monuments and more. There is nothing like the Top of the Yard anywhere in Washington DC.

Top of the Yard is open seasonally with special hours for baseball home games and specials events at Nationals Park.

Effective June 10, 2021 reservations are not required for Top of the Yard.

Had an open table reservation and when I got there the bartender said they don’t use open table anymore and didn’t try to accommodate us. Made for a difficult evening had to sit in a hot back corner. So don’t make a resy here and expect to get a table

Menu is extremely limited. Order the chicken dip, zero to no chicken was in it and they managed somehow to burn the nacho chips. Sliders were average at best.

Vegan sauage was yummy along with the mini pretzels. I love the view but it is very windy. Wish their was a way to make special request for ordering food online, instead I had to ask the server aferwards. Cracker Jacket drink was very interesting, would not reccomend.

Love the view , the service was excellent and the bartender did an outstanding job with the drinks and customer services . Will return for sure

View was great, ordering food and drinks was super easy and convenient! However, it was very hot with no shade. Some covering should be offered.

Hated the experience, you can only spend about an hour until they ask you to leave, and it wasn’t like we didn’t spend somewhere close to $80 at least, needless to say my first and last time going there!

I gave a low rating because it was only three to four things that was on the menu because of Covid basically they were half smokes chips dip etc no real menu to order from nor drinks accept beers the place is cute but very small and the view isn’t all that you see alit of the garages and a little of the stadium
