While others work to place the kitchen in the cocktail, we have placed the cocktail in the kitchen. English for “Sous Vide,” our Under Pressure cocktails employ a French cooking method that requires unrelenting patience and precision. Each cocktail spends no less than 135 minutes in a temperature-controlled environment where it undergoes an explicit manipulation of flavors.

This is not really what we were expecting. You’re literally looking at the back side of old buildings and the Empire State Building. This bar is really dated and needs to be updated.

We enjoyed our drinks and the view was great but the drinks were overpriced and the service was terrible.

The music was too loud. We asked for it to be turned down, which they did, but then turned it up again within minutes. Our waitress, who was lovely, had to keep bringing us out substitutions for our food saying what she saw in the kitchen did not look fresh. This happened several times. In the end we wound up eating things we did not want or particularly enjoy. Sadly, we would not go back.

Terrible seating. View not as promised. Server was rude and not responsive to us at all. It was very loud and we couldn’t hear each other even think. Seating was not conducive for disability. Seats either to low or odd high top stools. Very uncomfortable. As a result we cancelled a future reservation to avoid going back.

Excellent, nice setting looking at an Empire State building. Oscar was an outstanding bartender. The only complaint is that the kitchen closes at 9 p.m.. no snacks or bar food available between 9 PM and midnight.
