   Top of the rock is a great restaurant to eat at for any occasion. My wife and I ate here for our anniversary and from the food to the waiters everything was exceptional! The sights are also incredible!

   Food was very good and lots of it! The service wasn't very efficient. After about a 10 wait at our booth, had to ask the hostess if we had a waitress. Waitress was very on to the ball.

    We arrived early our fault because of time zone. We checked in and were told they would get us in. Almost 2 hours later we were seated. Problem is 2 guys walked in with no reservation and were seated in 40 mins. We both ordered fish, the Mahi Mahi, and the salmon. The salmon was cooked wonderfully but was very bland and the dirty rice it was served on was also bland. The Mahi Mahi was overcooked and no flavor to it, asparagus was undercooked, and for the price the portions were not very big. The portions were small to the point I had my stomach surgery and can't eat much but I was able to eat what was on my plate. It was cold in the restaurant and the door for the outside patio kept getting left open so we, and the table next to us had to eat with our jackets on. They were understaffed and seemed to not want confrontation. There was a walk in party of what looked to be 6 to 7 people, one of the guys after waiting 15 mins started arguing with the hostess so she sat them outside, 15 mins later they were cold so they were moved inside. We drove over an hour for this experience and are in agreement it wasn't worth the drive.

    Got the Fish n' Chips as this is one of my favorite dishes at the TOTR. Flavorful, not oily, great fries. Recommended to a friend and they enjoyed it as well.

    I could have made a better meal at home, and the food felt very overpriced for the quality and execution, but it was a fun experience to sit on the deck and watch the sunset.

    1st time visiting…’Jessica’ was my waitress and she was Great! Couldn’t decide what I wanted so I asked for her assistance and she suggested the Shrimp & Grits and ohh myyy Laawwdd was it good! I had a Jasper Sour to drink. Phenomenal. Presentation of the food and beverage were A+ The atmosphere and the view from out back is simply breathtaking. Easy to lose track of time from up there. Overall, loved it and I will definitely be back!

    We drove 1.5 hours to eat here to be ignored by 3 young ladies at the front playing on their phones and chatting it up. Then told they are waiting on 4 tables to be cleaned off. 20 minutes later no other tables were cleaned and I checked again with them as they rolled their eyes at me as if I was a disruption to their talking. I could see 6 clean tables when we arrived . When I went up the 3rd time I had received a text the table was ready and got the same attitude.

    The view was AMAZING! and the staff was super nice, the food is why the rating is low. My fries were super soggy and my macaroni tasted like nothing, the only thing Okay on my plate was the chicken. I probably won’t go back, our bill was $66 and I barely ate any of my food because it wasn’t good.

    Our appetizers were really good and the salads were good. The burgers and fries were barely warm. This is our 5th or 6th time to visit and definitely not up to our usual expectations. Hopefully it’s a one time thing.

    Made reservations for Valentines Day. We were seated immediately and our server was excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant was freezing cold. Every diner in the place had their jackets on. Also, our food was very mediocre. It was lukewarm and could have used some seasoning. I keep hoping this place will have good food because everything else about it is awesome. Unfortunately I keep getting disappointed.

    We were seated in one of the igloos. It was warm and cozy. The food was delivered in a quick manner, even though the restaurant was packed. Our waitress was very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it very much.

    The view is beautiful, only 35 mins from Chattanooga. I totally want to go back when it warms up and reserve a igloo. The chili peach shrimp was banging!

    The potato’s on three plates were burned and soggy. They did discount two plates, but my son and I ordered the $48 filet mignon and they got our plates mixed -up his was supposed be to be rare and mine medium. Two or three ppl came out and our the plates in-front of us but didn’t confirm which steak went to who and we had already cut them and started eating. The meat was good but would have preferred to have it cooked and not bloody, especially since I shared with my mom who likes hers well. We requested to add 4 ppl to the reservation and they said all tables were booked but counted about 10-12 empty tables. It was my sisters and moms birthday and would have loved the brownie skillet we had last yr they said was free, but were charged for four of them and didn’t realize it until we got home because my husband paid for it and I usually check the bill. Both occasions we spent by over $325. Nice view but the food mix up or something being over under cooked has happened 3-4 times we were there.

    Took my wife here for the first time for her birthday. Beautiful place, excellent atmosphere. Food is amazing!!! Only complaint was our waitress. From the time we were seated from the time she acknowledged us was 17 minutes. Very forgetful and non attentive. But overall I would recommend to anyone.
