Burma (modernized name - Myanmar) is a Southeast Asian country about the size of Texas, tucked between India and China, is a home to various ethnic tribes, a melting pot of beautiful cultures. When it comes to taste-buds tingling cuisines, Burma has a lot to offer. It has been a passionate dream for Burma-born owners Kalvin and Poe to open a Burmese restaurant to be able to share their culinary culture. That dream came true in 2019 when Top Burmese opened as a virtual takeout only restaurant from a commissary kitchen in NW Portland. Due to its authenticity, made to order, home-style cooking, and Burmese hospitality, Top Burmese traditional and modern Burmese dishes became so popular effectively evangelizing the masses to become Burmese Food fans.     wonderful service and great food. Our group ordered the Burmese Samosa Soup, Green Tea Leaf Salad and the Hand Mix Rainbow Salad. Every bite was enjoyed.

    My husband and I came out for date night on a Saturday evening. It was easy to get a reservation. We sat outside because the inside noise was loud and it was difficult to hear each other. Outside, there was an event across the street at a local church, loud music with a pounding thump, which was hard to ignore. We sat at a table for four, but only half of the table was cleared off for us and the rest was left dirty. We split a green tea salad and a curry dish, both of which were brought out quickly, so we did not have time to eat our salad without our entrée becoming cold. The food and drinks were well prepared and tasty. This was our second trip to one of the Burmese restaurants, but our experience at the one in the northwest was much better.

    Delicious food served by humans AND a robot. The service was quick and everyone seemed happy to be there. I'll definitely be returning!

    We love the green tea leaf salad! Also enjoyed the eggplant curry. And the tiny bowl of pickles was a treat.

    I brought two friends to lunch at Top Burmese Bistro Royale. This was their first time at the restaurant. They absolutely loved it. In addition to great food, the robot server was a wonderful surprise.

    An serene gem! Lush atmosphere and superb cuisine. Truly unique flavors to savor and as lovely a dining room as we've been to in recent memory. Full of warmth and life. Thank you! Definitely Recommended.
