Tony's is a marvelous restaurant. This was the fifth year we've spent our anniversary there and of course the service was excellent, attentive, yet unobtrusive. The food was beautifully presented and equally delicious; a varied menu to satisfy any appetite. The ambiance is quite appealing and is a perfect setting for a special occasion dining!

Tony’s is the outstanding dining experience in St Louis. The service is beyond reproach. The food is totally delicious. A person could not ask for anything more. Vince Jr. is the perfect host and sees to your every wish. This is the location for the outstanding meal.

Incredible! Outstanding! Over the top! But mere words can not describe this iconic St Louis restaurant... you have to experience the ambiance, food, and incredible old school table-side service and plating of every dish! Don’t be in a hurry... and bring a good appetite as the servings are generous. We opted for a nice Brunello and ordered the 5 course dinner for two with a perfect start, middle, and finish! But perhaps the highlight of the evening was meeting and chatting with Mr Vincent Bommarito Sr who still visits guests from table to table ensuring that only the highest standards he established are maintained! All around excellent evening!!

Whenever I visit St Louis I consider a meal at Tony’s to be essential. This is old school dining at its finest. Service is very formal but not stiff. Maitre d, captain, waiter, bread and water service, sommelier. Lots of table side preparation like deboning fish, clambering desserts. Food is excellent. Specials are truly special. Prices are not cheap but feel reasonable for the quality. Wine list has some excellent bottles, again not necessarily bargains but at a reasonable markup. Tables spaced far apart to allow conversation. I have enjoyed myself here every time I went and plan to continue for as long as I can.

Wait staff was very accommodating to our needs. My guests were thrilled with the food and how some of it was prepared table-side. The overall atmosphere was elegant without being over priced. This was my second being there and I look forward to the next, I would definitely recommend to anyone in my industry who needs a place to dine with customers.

This was a fantastic dining experience. We flew from California to St Louis with the express purpose of having dinner at Tony's. It was worth the trip!

While the food is top notch fine dining, the service is spectacular. All of the people, from the valet to the table captain to the bus boy, are welcoming, refined, well trained. It is no wonder that Tony's has set the standard for a memorable dining experience in St. Louis for years. If you have to pick a place to try, make it Tony's. You will want to go back.

Tony's should be a 5-star for its reputation and price point but is far from it. The place has a dated feel that could be charming but is not. The Maitre 'd was unwelcoming, service was inattentive, items listed on the menu were unavailable, menus given to two different people at the table listed different items, salad was meager, zabaglione was truly terrible. Our primary server was friendly, and the halibut and creme brulee were excellent, but these were insufficient compensation for the rest of the experience.

As aAlways, the food is unbelievable, the service is excellent, what can you say. Tony’s is definitely one of the best restaurants in downtown St. Louis bar none! Definitely return and would recommend at least once a month if you live in St. Louis.

Food was amazing and service even better. Attention to detail is unmatched anywhere in St. Louis. Table side preparation for a lot of selections is a nice touch.

Dining at Tony’s is always a pleasure

Our visit to Tony's was wonderful. The service was of the highest quality and a joy to experience. Our waiter was attentive and prompt and the dining flowed smoothly from start to finish. All of our dishes were heated and served table side and tasted great. The temperature, seasoning, and portion size were ideal and commensurate with prices. I definitely recommend dining here at least once for the experience!

Food here is good and there is an old-world elegance. The big detractor is the bar - the cocktails were terrible. Ordered a blanton's old fashioned - awful. Sent them back and ordered Blanton's on the rocks and a manhattan. Restaurant was out of Blanton's with no really good alternative. Manhattan was delivered on the rocks - waiter never asked how I wanted it. Sent back again.

For me, the mark of an elegant restaurant starts with the execution of the cocktail menu. Very disappointed on this front.

My son chose to celebrate his 18th birthday at Tony’s. The waitstaff and servers were friendly and did an excellent job, as is typical of a Tony’s experience. The food was outstanding and is always enhanced by the table side preparation. In the diverse and fantastic St. Louis dining scene, Tony’s is one of the two or three best restaurants in town!

Tony’s is clearly one of the top restaurants in St. Louis. It’s a little pricey, but you get way pay for here, with a winning combination of great food and outstanding service. Thank you Vince and the entire crew at Tony’s for a really special evening!

Wonderful dinner and service. Ambiance much noisier than usual with SEC fans and teams in town. No matter, they handled it like you would expect at Tony’s- no muss, no fuss.

This was the 1st time we had been to Tony’s, but will definitely make it back again. The food was outstanding and Carlos our server was excellent.

Always a wonderful dining experience. The cuisine is outstanding. Loved the Lobster albanello, so superbly prepared. My wife had the Filet of Swordfish was also out of this world! The preceding salads were so fresh and crispy with just the perfect amount of dressings. And last, but certainly not the least, we had a fabulous dessert. The banana flambé muted NOrleans Banana Foster, and the Special Brown Butter Tart with Caramel sauce ice cream was truly special. I will not forget to mention that the service and attention to details are always impeccable. Tony’s is truly THE Restaurant of St. Louis!

Service is always outstanding. We love Donnie! We were seated at the first table by the door - it was chilly and noisy in that spot.
Food was good overall, my steak tasted almost sour - whatever the sauce was seemed to acidic.

I have been lucky enough to visit Tony's for nearly 10 years as a guest of my friend. Now I have been able to come back myself for special occasions and don't plan on stopping! The food is excellent, and you are treated like royalty. It seems some reviewers are mistaken by the type of restaurant Tony's is, by complaining about 'poor service' due to a long wait between courses. This is not the place for a quick bite--rather a place to enjoy your food and long conversation with good company. These waiters have been in the game for many many years, some for decades, so they know what they are doing. Tip: Don't show up in jeans or short sleeves! You will no doubt be out of place. I suggest slacks and a blazer minimum to 'fit in'
