Tony's - St. Louis
Morels has just arrived and the Chef offered them to the patrons. Amazing and so special. Beet salad was an inspiration and the service is always and warm welcoming astonishment of delight.
Love this place for just about any reason.
We had a quiet weeknight dinner at Tony's -- only a few other tables were occupied. Both the service and our meals were outstanding. The pasta was perfection, and everything else was great.
Our daughter-in-law and grand daughter were in town and we wanted a special treat for them. They loved dinner!!!
We had a wonderful evening!!!
The service and the food were fabulous. Tony's is never a disappointment. The best place in town.
My brother, who lives in Michigan, called a few weeks ago to invite us to dinner at Tony's to celebrate several birthdays. I was a magical evening....
Tony's is always an extraordinary experience. The food is always super and the service is the most professional that can be. We will dine there every time we are in St. Louis.
So nice to see this St. Louis Classic spot still going strong. They may have relocated, but the food was superb and the atmosphere wonderful. Especially nice to see Tony greeting guests...
Lovely restaurant near the Arch. The service is not to be believed, incredibly solicitous but not intrusive. Food finished off tableside. Good wine list. I had the peppercorn strip, which was one of the best steaks that I have ever had! My husband had the special halibut, which was also superb. We also split a risotto, also great! It is not inexpensive but well worth it!
Always a wonderful experience. We come every year for our anniversary.
Hubby & I had our wedding anniversary dinner at Tony's while staying in town on vacation. The place is very elegant & they obviously aim to be high scale. Our server was great at explaining the menu & seemed very knowledgeable. The quality of the food was great, but not quite as delicious as we expected for the price. While everything tasted good, nothing was exceptionally flavorful. Portion sizes were large. We were given a slice of cake since we were there celebrating which was a lovely surprise.
It is truly an amazing dining experience. The food, wine, service, and ambiance are wonderful. Highly recommend for a date night or special occasion.
Service was great, food was mediocre, decent but not worth the$250 price tag.
80th birthday dinner
We had not been to Tony's for years.....it was a must to in our youth. It was wonderful to see it is the same standard, great food and service and a perfect ambiance. It is expensive but worth every penny
Tony’s is a St. Louis classic and remains a wonderful restaurant today. The dress code has been relaxed to business casual, the menu contains many classics and some new lighter fare, the service is designed to allow you set the pace of your meal - overall you are guaranteed to have a great dining experience.
Although is a great place for a special occasion, it is also a great place for everyday dining. There is never a bad time to visit Tony’s and have great food with perfectly orchestrated service.
Amazing service delicious food.
Poor service. Wrong main dish. Forgot to send my leftovers home with to go dessert order.
While traveling, my wife and I like to explore establishments that we believe offer a fine dining experience. Tony’s did not disappoint. If in St. Louis, don’t miss the opportunity to dine here.
I always try and make time to dine at Tonys when I’m in St. Louis. You should too!
The food was amazing. We had the duck confit fettuccini and seared scallops for starters. The scallops were perfectly cooked. The duck fettuccini was delicious. Main courses were the veal Milanese and halibut special on spinach with capers. Both were just excellent. The highlight of the night was the lemon ricotta cheesecake. It was light, just the right amount of sweetness and oh so lemony.
Food was world class. Server and staff was outstanding. Vince was present and very friendly. Facility could use a sprucing up. Host was less than cordial...unfortunately.
Wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner. We missed Vince.
The food was very good, but it was a little over priced for the quality.
First time here. VERY nice. All staff made us feel special and important. It’s not something we would ever do for ourselves strictly because of the cost but it was a gift to us. A perfect gift for sure
Absolutely the best place to go for a special evening of excellent food, drink, service and opportunity for quiet conversation.
Great dinner. Only negative was that they did not receive our Open Table reservation. They sat us after a 15 minute wait. We appreciate that they sat us instead of turning us away. Fantastic dinner. We tried the tasting menu and it was amazing.
Food and service were excellent. The tables are too close without separation for an intimate, romantic setting. Tony’s salad and bread were average to mediocre. The complimentary birthday dessert was not very good and considering the amount spent, we should have had a dessert from the menu.
The best Italian food in the universe! Always a treat. Keep being great on my taste buds. This is the standard, & keeps getting better
This was my first visit to Tony’s, a restaurant I had heard about all my life. We were the first guests of the evening and were warmly greeted by a group of employees. The decor felt retro - circa 1970’s and in need of an update, in my opinion. Service was impeccable - friendly rather than snooty, as I had expected; attentive, but not distractive. We shared the mushroom pasta dish, which was excellent. I had the veal trio, which was prepared perfectly, with 3 different sauces. My friend had the salmon which she enjoyed. Even the bread was memorable. Yes, it was pricey, but it was as much of an experience, as it was a meal.
Wonderful evening, food and service could not have been better. Delicious and delightful!
food and service were great, the menu has gotten much smaller as has the wine menu, they brought us our bill without asking us if we would like anything else or if they could do anything else for us.
The service was excellent and our captain Bruce was amazing. All the workers there were attentive. I wish my filet mignon had more flavor. It wad bland. Other than that, the rest of the experience was excellent.
Outstanding from soup to nuts.
Excellent service, food, and accommodations. They really made our anniversary special.
Tony's is still great. The menu doesn't change much year to year, and the room might need a little updating, but it's still reliable for a pleasant, special evening.
The food and service was great. The dress code has gone drastically casual over the year. Value? Uhhh, it's expensive. The decor is definitely outdated. We did have fun though and our servers were a joy!
Great dining experience Service terrific and food prepared excellent
Really creative wine menu. Incredible service.
My business partner and I had drinks at Anthony’s and then dinner at Tony’s on Tuesday night. The food was excellent. The entire staff was on their game. Our server, Menkara, was top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Tony’s has been a tradition as our go to fine dinning experience in St Louis for many years. The modern elegant dinning room with high end classic touches is simply beautiful. The attentive French table service is done with glaur and at a high level that is seldom seen in any city today. The food is top rate classic gourmet using the finest ingredients often locally sourced from specialty boutique farms. The charming owner makes a point of welcoming guests as a welcome friends and makes sure every detail is perfect. A treasure that I highly recommend.
As always the service was fabulous!! Best service in town for sure! Great food great atmosphere! Everyone is so friendly!
