   This was my first time to this restaurant and I have lived in Coeur D Alene my whole life. I can definitely say I have mixed emotions about it. My significant other and I started off with an appetizer of the Calamari. The Calamari was very soggy and delivered is a tiny wire basket which looked like a half order. Probably could have fit it all in the palm of my hand. For a $21 appetizer I feel like it should have been presented a little better and the portion size could have been better. Before your meal comes out you get half a slice of bread per person which also seemed cheap on the restaurants part. The entrees that we ordered were pretty good but make sure you're aware that if you're asked if you want a salad or a cup of soup those are not included with your meal and cost extra. After spending $150 between two people you'd think that the restaurant would be a little more generous with what they are giving you.

   This was my.second.visit here. The first time had been very memorable, as was this. We had the fresh mozzarella, bruchetta, two pasta dishes, and the osso bucco.that melted in your mouth like butter. Service was impeccable. Well worth the price.

   I really had high hopes for Tony’s. I read the reviews and they were usually given five stars. So I decided to take my wife there for Mother’s Day. My first mistake was making reservations online. I requested a view table and ended up getting seated in the rear of the restaurant, farthest from the view. I asked our server about it and she said, in the future, to call for reservations instead of going online. There were view tables available, but not for us. We were not offered a better table. The service was excellent. Our server was really nice and quite attentive without being intrusive. The food was not so great. We had the calamari for starters and it was good. My wife had the salmon and risotto and it wasn’t too bad. The salmon was pretty good, but lacked flavor, along with the risotto, which lacked flavor and was a little overdone. My pasta and clams were not good. The dish was watery instead of being more on the creamy side and definitely lacked flavor. Either you make a dish like this with more of a broth base or take it to the creamy side, not something in between. At the end of the meal, we split a Limoncello Cheesecake which was pretty good. I had an espresso martini ($15.00) at the start of dinner and we had 4 glasses of non-alcohol sparkling wine to accompany the rest of the meal. We also had caesar salads. The restaurant was very noisy, especially being seated between a very bombastic gentleman and a screaming baby. $240.00 with tip

   We had an incredible dinner. We loved the ambience. The service was great and the food was amazing. We would highly recommend the restaurant.

   Wow! Can’t believe we have driven by Tony’s so many times and never stopped in. Host was fantastic- he gave us the entire story of Tony’s including it’s more nefarious history – had no idea we’d be eating in a former brothel. Our server was fantastic we had great cocktails, great wine the sourdough was perfect. Great Ceasar salad- dressing was perfect. The seafood pasta I had was incredible and my husband said the pork chop was probably the best he’s ever had in his life – we actually took it back to our hotel room and bought a cooler just so we could take it home to Montana with us. I am a food blogger and I am pretty hard to impress but Tony’s definitely will be one we put on repeat – 10 out of 10 will dine again.

   This is a Coeur d’Alene treasure. Culinary masterpiece dishes well accompanied with varieties of fresh, unique, and exotic vegetables and compliments. It’s a a new experience each time we dine there even when ordering previous favorites.

   Great place to have a birthday dinner. Service was great even with it being very busy. Views were great and the food was delicious. Only bummer is the street noise with loud motorcycles and cars but that’s at no fault of the restaurant. More of a heads up to expect it. We found our new favorite place!

   Atmosphere was wonderful. Servers were polite and professional. Quality and taste of food was outstanding. Prices were quite high but once in a while, meh!

   I’m not sure that reviews for Tony’s are worth doing any longer, they just don’t miss. The food is great, the service is great, the ambiance is great, I don’t know what else to say. Surprises at a white tablecloth dining establishment are usually not good ones, and here you won’t have any. Everything is always just the way it should be.

    Amazing evening and dinner from start to finish. Great drink menu, delicious entrees, perfect desserts to finish the meal. Servers are attentive but not intrusive. I can’t wait to go back! I almost wish my birthday came more than once a year!
