Tony's Di Napoli - Midtown
Great place to catch dinner prior to the Theater!
I can’t say enough good about Tony’s!!! Everything was fabulous and we would highly recommend it!! It was the perfect place for a fun, festive, food filled evening!!! Can’t wait to go back!
Had a great pre-theater dinner. Best eggplant parm ever.
Loved it great food as good as first visit which was 5 years ago
Our server Maggie was outstanding satisfying our every need.Food was well above your average just fantastic
Excellent food as always. Waiter was very attentive. Great family style restaurant that never lets us down!
We love the food at Tony’s , it’s always delicious. We have to say we prefer their other location as this one is crowded and so loud you can’t have a conversation at your own table . We went here because it was convenient for visiting family .
My first visit was for NYC Marathon with a party of 12. The experience and food was so good, decided to visit again with our adult granddaughters who we brought to NYC to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child plays at nearby Lyric Theatre. Once again it was amazing service, food, and very accommodating with my husband’s walker/accessibility.
Great family style Italian dishes with excellent servers! Great place to take a date or the entire family!
Fantastic service, food was excellent and value was great
Family style dining at best, with the best Italian food and awesome sraff.
We had a fabulous time! Our waiter, Rob, made it that much more fun. He was attentive, friendly and funny. We aren't from New York, but would recommend this restaurant to all of our friends heading there! Food was great, atmosphere was great....loved the music! Thanks for a great evening!
Amazing as usual! Food was fresh and so good! Our server, Brett, was hilarious and on the ball! Our second time there and we will be back. We had the fried mozzarella, chicken parmigiana, fettuccine alfredo and the ‘little’ tiramisu! So so good!
Good food came out quickly. Great service. The family size portions were easily enough for 2, maybe 3 people.
We’ve been coming here for years & it is always an excellent experience. From the food to the service, always consistently awesome. On this occasion, our waiters name was Robert & he was great (& funny too). We had the mixed seafood, with angel hair pasta, brocolli rabe & escarole with beans & every single morsel was yummy. Family size portions are quite large, enough left over for another meal. Fun atmosphere too & very clean.
I had to restrain myself from licking every bit of vodka sauce off the empty plate. This food is so good. Hadn't eaten here for 10+ years but it's just as good as I remembered! Brought friends from out of town and they all loved it too. It's very hard to get reservations on the weekend so book early.
Friends in the city for Broadway Show. All 9 at my table plan to return to Tony’s. Excellent!
We were sat next to the hostess station. We had absolutely no issue with this. There was however, a host with unacceptable body odor. No one should be subjected to this, especially while eating. Each and every time he passed by, which was quite often we were subjected to his odor. I live in Philadelphia and have eaten here at least ten times. I’ll absolutely return, but this personnel must be addressed.
It's always a pleasure to see everyone, and the food was superb, as always. Love the regular menu, but it's always a good idea to wait to hear the specials. We tried the chicken crostada, a new special for us, and it was spectacular. Chicken breast crusted with parmesan, and escarole and beans, roasted potatoes with rosemary. Also had the bronzini - if it's ever on the menu, always get this - with potatoes and perfectly crisp broccolli. Cannot leave without my tiramisu! Thank you all, as always, for a lovely afternoon!
We saw Frozen!
If I could give the food a 100 I would! Oh my, soooo delicious and such a great value for a family! Yum yum yum yum!!!!!!
Fried calamari was very chewy - poor quality. Chicken in Chicken Marsala was over cooked and tough. Got two seltzer - one tasted good, then other had strange taste like from old ice. All service including ours seemed very rushed to get people out as fast as possible. Overall quality very poor compared to Carmines. Chose this place because Carmines had no open times for reservations when we needed to go. Will not experiment ever again. Carmines is far better - I've been to Carmines several times over the years and always very good. This was my first and last time to Tony's.
We had a reservation and they sat us immediately We picked this restaurant because it served family style. The food was very good. Our food came quickly which was what we requested since we were seeing a show that night. Portions were very big Enjoyed the meal
Excellent as always !
Fabulous meal with great service! Chicken parmigiana that was scrumptious! We’ll be back soon I hope!
I was getting together with some friends. We were going to see a broadway show and we wanted to eat something before. I have been to this restaurant before and knew the food was amazing. Making a reservations was quick and easy and the service was great.
Great food and service - my party of five ordered two entrees and a salad, and we had leftovers!
Our server was wonderful! However, food was ok and came to table luke warm. Nothing special.
Took my family for my sisters birthday. Had Caesar salad - tasty but over dressed. My family loved the table bread. We shared veal parmigiana - only small piece was tough, rigatoni alla vodka with mushrooms great, linguine white clam ok, and escarole and beans so so. Dessert was billed as strawberry shortcake- pound cake and vanilla ice cream with frozen berries- a bust. They overall enjoy the experience
We go here at least once a year after the theatre, we look forward to the wonderful service and delicious food!
I keep going back to Tony's Di Napoli for very good Italian food at reasonable prices. Portions are generous. It is conveniently located off Times Square. It's my go-to place for lunch in NYC.
Delicious! Great Pre-show meal.
Always excellent!! We bring a group of 9-12 for lunch and theater every July and wouldn’t think of going to any other restaurant!
Très bonne ambiance et les repas sont gros et à partager... pas chers
Food is amazing. Huge portions and full of flavor. A must place to eat at when in New York.
Best thing was the Bread and the Wine...no so much for the Meatballs or the Eggplant Parmesan. A special Birthday and the place was so loud you couldn't even carry on a conversation with the person in front of you. A poor choice for a 60th Birthday Dinner.
The waiter was so kind and patient with our baby. He took photos for us and took extra care that we were happy. I didnt have the heart to tell him our veal parmigiana was burnt and the wine had turned.
This was our kids’ first sightseeing trip in Manhattan, and we wanted a family friendly restaurant with fast service and familiar dishes. Tony’s family style menu filled the bill. Food was great and plentiful! The only inconvenience was that the downstairs bathrooms were not accessible for our handicapped son, but that was not a big deal because we were close to our hotel.
Been to Tony's a few times now. Never disappoints. Delicious food, great for sharing and coming in larger groups.
