Tony's Di Napoli - Midtown
Always a great place to kickoff our NY city trips. While the restaurant was not as busy with broadway going dark, the food was still top quality. Great service. We had the traditional chicken parm, linguine marinara and fettuccine Alfredo. There were only 3 of us but I wanted some extra food to send back to campus with my daughter as much of their food options are now limited. Great night.
A must visit when you’re anywhere in New York City
Love this place! The noise level downstairs was perfect—not too noisy at all. We shared the ricotta salad and the rigatoni with eggplant and mozzarella—so yummy. Nice bottle of Niro montepulciano—lovely!
Tony's NEVER ever disappoints....consistency is paramount @ this establishment..I'll be back soon!
Amazing food and excellent service. The waitress made great suggestions and explains the menu choices to help. Late night dining and the staff were still engaged and friendly.
Great meal. We cleared all of our plates. The manager even gave us complimentary dessert which was a nice treat!
Great find near Knickerbocker hotel. Fabulous attention from the waiter. Amazing cheesecake.
Can't go here without getting the rigatoni with vodka and mushrooms. Portions are incredibly generous for the price — one of the best dining options in the theatre district for sure.
We dine here quite often. The food is always great and the service is really great. They never rush us and they take great care of us. Our waiter Ken is just excellent. It is great for a special event , pre or post theater, friends get together and a special occasion. Highly recommended
My husband and I enjoyed a late meal of fried zucchini, mussels diavolo and wine, followed by Irish coffee. Tony’s is known for huge servings, so we polished off these appetizers and counted them as a meal. This is our standard practice whenever in NYC and a nice change of pace from other dining. Our waitress, Julia, was excellent, adding to our pleasant experience.
I bring my students every year (since 2012). Tony’s NEVER disappoints! Outstanding Italian food. My students look forward to it every year.
Food and service were wonderful! Our server asked if we need to be anywhere and told her no we were celebrating our daughters birthday that being said we felt very rushed for the amount of food we ordered. We would still definitely return!
Excellent experience, food was great and the reservation was right on time!!!
5 people got 4 chicken francaise
Spaghetti with meat sauce
Meat sauce scarce
The drinks and bar tender were great! We tipped him but carried our bill over to the table. When our waitress brought the check, I informed her that I would not be tipping on the $77.00 from the bar. She bristled and said that would affect her negatively. She was an excellent server and the food was outstanding but don't let that negative attitude make you tip someone for something they didn't provide and that you have already taken care of.
Our first visit to Tony' Di Napoli on W43rd St for a pre-theatre dinner before seeing
"Frozen" with the grandchildren. We didn't know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised by the pleasant ambience. We were seated at a round table for six. We ordered family style. The waitress also brought us spaghetti with butter for our granddaughter who doesn't like sauce, chocolate milk and regular milk for the children. I haven't had mozzarella in Carozza in years, and it was perfect. We have eaten at Orso's which is also good for adults due to a very limited menu. Orso's was very accomodating when one of our party was very late, and we were rushing for theatre time. If you are on the lower west side, recommend Gigino's Trattoria on Greenwich St between Duane and Reade.
Always a joy. Food is excellent and the service superb. Three of us shared chicken Marsala, chicken parm, and rigatoni pomodoro. Topped off with a bottle of montepulciano, and they got us out on time for our broadway show.
Our server was very nice and food was good as always
Awesome experience. Love spending my bday with you
Doesn't allow you to bring your own wine. Need to keep up with the times. I wouldn't go there again.
Prices higher than UES branch but probably due to Times Square location. Noise level was very high. Good service. Got us easily out in time for theater curtain.
Love going here before a show. It’s very bridge and tunnel but that’s part of the charm. (Times Square location is usually all non tri state area tourists, this is the closest you’ll get to avoiding a tourist trap in the area). As for dress code: everyone is either in a suit or in sweatpants and sneakers. There is no in-between. Again, this is part of the charm. Food is awesome and we loved the gluten free pasta!
Always a good time with our boy Agron!!!
Had a great meal....Rigatoni with meat sauce is my favorite along with there meatballs. When we want a good Italian restaurant...Tony's Di Napoli is the place we will go.
Food is always excellent! Service is fast. So much to choose from.
Best italian food i have had so far. ,....................................................
Delicious food, Prompt, Courteous, fast service. Very pleasant servers. They ask you if you need to be any place by a certain time. if you have theater reservations they get you in and out without feeling rushed. Have been here a few times and love it. You will not be disappointed
It is a family-style restaurant so the portions are large. All of the food was delicious and the waitstaff was friendly and efficient.
Delicious food. Dishes well served.
Good service. Very good
Great time every time. Food was typically EXCELLENT and the SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. They never fail to go the extra mile for you and as busy as they are they are never slow or push you out. Our favorite place in NYC
Great food and service
Great service, food is your traditional Italian dishes. Loved it
Great food! We had a great time with friends! Will definitely be back soon!
Family style eating in the heart of the theatre district. Good food and a good value as the serving portions are large and easily feed three people.
Always love going to Tony’s in Times Square. The food is outstanding and if you’re not sure just ask one of the many experienced servers. The whole restaurant runs like a well oiled cog! Absolutely fascinating to watch and a pleasure to eat there and enjoy the ambiance.
Cut our order in half from previous visit and still could not finish it.
Server was very nice and informative
You won't be disappointed. the staff were so warm and cordial, the food was scrumptious and the wine was hearty
Tony's serves ood, honest red sauce Italian food that is well prepared. The service was excellent. The portions are designed to be shared and when you consider every dish will serve 2-3 people, the pricing is very fair. Three of us (2 adults and a 12 year old) split an appetizer and main dish. We had plenty of food. It is noisy but very enjoyable with a group. Tony's is an excellent choice for a group in the theater district.
Superb!!! Had reservations. We were late but seated right away. My Autistic teen and I had a great meal. Service was exceptional. Accommodating. Overall great experience.
Food and service is consistently good. There’s always some wait, be sure to make a reservation and don’t be late for it or you’ll have to wait. Seafood squid ink pasta is to die for.
