Tony's Di Napoli - Midtown
As a party of 7, it was difficult to find available tables late at night in NYC. We made a reservation online for Tony's and were seated right away when we arrived. We were given a round table. Our waiter was welcoming and made suggestions for dishes to share that would suffice for our group size. The Caesar salad and fried calamari were excellent appetizers. For entrees, we chose the Chicken Parmesan and Fettuccini Alfredo. For dessert, we shared the standard Tiramisu, which was a large portion and sufficient for our group. Overall delicious food and excellent service.
Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing atmosphere. I wish I had come sooner. The best dining I found in Times Square so far. I will probably go back tomorrow. The portions are huge. It tastes gourmet and authentic. Very nice.
This was the best food I've ever eaten! HUGE portions! Even though it was loud...it was like a family atmosphere! You could talk to the people beside you
Authentic New York experience. We loved the food and the atmosphere. The service was excellent.
Girls weekend in NYC, had a great meal and service was excellent. The place is pretty loud, but we probably contributed to that ! 😊
WE HAD 600 OCLOCK RESERVATIONS WE SAT MAYBE 5 MINUTES AFTER SEATS WERE PERFECT, FOOD WAS AMAZING WE HAD ONE REFERRAL THE CHICKEN ROLLINTINI IT WAS INCREDIBLE THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT THE. SANGRIA EVEN BETTER. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS AWESOME.
Celebrated my birthday with friends
Great place for a dinner before a show, generous sized family style portions, happy with the gluten-free options.
The service was very good, for a 3:30pm reservation it was pretty busy. Can't beat there chicken scarpariello with potatoes and sausage, and I really like the espresso martini. Have been to Tony's on several occasions usually busy make sure you make a reservation.
The atmosphere and the food were outstanding. My family and I had a great Sunday afternoon dining experience.
Tony's never disappoints! Our waiter was outstanding, as well as the food! Always my go to place when seeing a Broadway show!
The pasta was great; the salad was a bit bland and I didn’t love the meatballs. All food is served family style, with enough for 3-4 people, which means a party of two will have too much food and not really be able to sample and share many things. We were visiting from out of town, so couldn’t take leftovers home with us. We tried to give the leftovers to a homeless person but couldn’t find any takers and had to toss it all - that was disappointing.
Chicken was dry and atmosphere was extremely loud. Server was excellent though.
Doubtful we will return.
Very busy spot in Times Square but they work really hard to take care of people. We had a reservation for 12 and luckily were seated downstairs so we could hear each other! Our server, Chrystal was outstanding and very attentive. Food was very good and came out at a great pace. We were celebrating a big anniversary and Tony’s didn’t disappoint!
This was the second visit for two of us but first time for the other three. All enjoyed the dining experience and service was excellent! Will come again either during this trip or next time when in NYC from WA state.
Great food. Crowded. Don’t go without a reservation. You will have to wait at least an hour an half.
Amazing as always. We love Tony’s!
Food was great. Close to theaters. A bit noisy but we were fine.
Fabulous dinner and service!! Always a great time!!
We had a 5pm reservation and restaurant was “mobbed.” At 5:05 we were seated at a table for 2 in the back-very quiet. The waitress came over immediately-told us the specials and brought water and bread. We ordered CC Parm and Penne ala vodka which was excellent. We had dined at Carmine’s 2 years ago and seated on top of each other and much more expensive-no comparison. Good service makes all the difference and our server was lovely and fantastic. We can’t wait to go back-thank you!
Never disappoints! Our go to place for before or after a show. Our waiter Ken was outstanding!
always great service and great food at tony DiNapoli's cant wait to go back!!!!!
Every time I go to NYC I always eat here! It’s always great service and I love that the food is family style. I recommend Tony’s to anyone going to be in the area!
Tony’s Di Napoli was wonderful! We had a party of 10 and they were very accommodating. They verified reservation with me after booking through opentable. Waiter was very attentive and they went beyond expectations when some of our dish fell on the floor while sharing with each other.
Great family atmosphere. Pleasant servers. Fair prices
The food was good and tasty. However, I have been drinking so mch water after the meal. I dont know what is in the food that makes me so thirsty. Even though, I love their food, I need to limit myself go in this restaurant.
Always exceptional.portions are family style. Very noisy. Be sure to make a reservation otherwise the wait will be over an hour. They recently raised their prices But worth it.
We go to Tony’s pre theatre. With early reservations, we have never had to wait. Food is delicious, lots of it! Our server Robert was friendly and helpful. I love their berry parfait dessert, but was too full to order this time!
Late night, post-theater dinner was just delicious and our waiter Robert was the perfect amount of attentiveness and friendly.
This is one of our very favorite Italian restaurants! The food is delicious and there is much of it! We brought home half and enjoyed it the next day for lunch. The staff was very good, and we interacted with people seated on either side of us. It was a fun evening!
Love this place!!!!!!! Robyn is such a lovely server. Food was delicious
I go to the restaurant on a regular basis and always enjoy the food
We had a fabulous dinner. We were celebrating our son’s 10th birthday and everything was spot on. Our waiter Robert was great and his recommendations were perfect.
Italian family style menu means LOTS of food and all of it was yummy!! Our waitress was super- very attentive, but not obnoxious. She gave us great options and was fun too- which is saying a lot since the place was packed.
Only negative is you feel very crowded. Anyone from a neighboring table getting up or down, was a challenging maneuver.
Still we left full and satisfied with our meal.
Very good experience, food and service very good
Always a great meal at Tony’s. We tried the Chicken special with 3 cheeses in a white wine sauce and it was TAATY. It was crowded as always. Noisy as always. Very NYC and a great place to take the family
Good for three or more diners - family style service makes two diners difficult
Friendly fast service. Eggplant rollatini app was good but could have been warmer. Chicken parmesan and fettuccine Alfredo were both delicious. Plenty of pasta, chicken was a bit smaller than I would have liked but the sauce was excellent on both.
food was good.
The waitress tried to take care of her tables. But with one large group and several tables, definitely she need help.
The food was just OK. Not particularly tasty / flavorful. Tourist trap.
