Tony's Di Napoli - Midtown
Great food and surprisingly affordable for NYC and a 1/2 block from Times Square
Great pasta, large portions, friendly server.
We had an amazing time! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Reasonably priced (for Manhattan )... the waitress was kind enough to warn us not to order more food than we needed!
This is a wonderful place for a big old fashioned Italian meal with lots of people at the table. My family has been gathering at Tony D's each year for a decade with anywhere from 10 - 20 people at our table, and we are never disappointed. Plenty of wonderful food served family style, great service, reasonable prices and a bustling atmosphere.
Food was very good. Service was excellent.
Very loud though and hard to hear people at your table talking to each other.
Tables very close together and kept getting bumped into by servers and busboys who kept walking behind my chair.
Other then that excellent time and would go back but ask for a table by the wall etc
Tony’s is a must if you’re looking for a special place to enjoy lunch in Times Square! The pastas were delicious, and the family-style strawberry shortcake was to die for!
Honestly their rigatoni alla vodka was one of the best vodka sauces I’ve ever tasted. Everything was beyond delicious and will be our spot before broadway shows from now on.

Food was amazing!!! Service was just as good!
After years of walking by this restaurant, I decided to give it a try in spite of my instincts to just keep walking by it and was I glad that I did. Though the noise was deafening and the table that they squeezed 8 of us into was too small, the food was plentiful and good, the drinks were generous pours, and the service was just great. Best of all, the prices made this even sweeter. Our whole group loved it and we're going to be back. Try it! If this jaded NY foodie liked it, you will, too.🤗🍝🍷🍛🍸🍷
We love Tony’s and have been going there for years but this time it was not up to their usual standard.
Zucchini Fritti was undercooked and greasy. Chicken parmigiana cutlets were too thick and rather tough, and shrimp francese was skimpy on the sauce. Then unfortunately, the meal ended with lukewarm cappuccinos. They were very busy (as always) and the server didn’t check in with us in a timely manner to rectify any of the issues......☹️
Awesome as always!
Truly amazing! I actually went back the following evening.
The food was great, our waiter was fantastic! Definitely coming back a lot!
I didn't feel like that food was worth the price. 4 breasts of chicken for $36 seemed like a rip off. The chicken was very good however. Carmine's has similar prices and they give a lot more food. I asked them to put pasta underneath the chicken picatta but they were unwilling to do so. Great restaurants go out of their way to cater to their guests requests, especially when their competition will put pasta underneath anything. They say their food is family style, but I could finish any of the dishes without pasta by myself. Service was fine but not too attentive. I won't be back, wasn't worth it and didn't feel like they care about their guests too much.
Our favorite place to eat when we come to NYC!!! Love everything about it. Great drinks, great food and great atmosphere!
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We were seeing a play and wanted a restaurant that was in close proximity. I am glad we choose Tony DiNapoli’s and we will definitely go back again. The food and service was fabulous.
Very average italian food. Limp pasta. Large portions.
Just an amazing experience from the awesome food to the incredible service
Great gem to always hit when visiting the big apple. Restaurant was really warm tonight though which was unusual.
I saw good reviews and got a good recommendation from someone whose opinion I trusted. My expectations were exceeded. We intentionally ordered more than we could eat at one sitting, and the staff was great about packing up the leftovers. Our service was excellent, and great value for the quantity and quality of the food (our waiter was nice enough to suggest the the sundae was probably best shared between two people; the ice cream joint in my neighborhood sells a sundae for about the same price which can be eaten by one person comfortably). My guest is expected to come back to the City soon, and we now have a go-to for a great dinner. Thanks again.
We found this Italian by chance but so glad we did. We actually went twice, it was so good. Excellent food, amazing staff, great atmosphere, well worth a visit
Quick, friendly service with excellent food.
The Squid ink linguini with seafood was absolutely amazing! Must try!
We visit Tony’s every time we come to New York, and every time we go it gets better !
Service is great, we were looked after by Alex and he was great.
The whole sharing idea really works and the god is just fabulous,
Always busy and really homely feel when you are there.
Fabulous meal with my 12 year old daughter in fact we went back ! Booking is essential !
awesome. my "go to place". Love the food! It can be a little loud though.
Great food and even better waiter. Fantastic time!
Food was terrible not enough for 2 people would not come back
I was pleasantly surprised to get seated on time for our reservation. We sat downstairs and it was very loud down there. The look a of the place and the seating was good. The service was good and the foot was top notch. I would definitely recommend this to all
Loved this place. Was the first time there. Will definitely come back.
We had an incredibly friendly, funny, and informative server — I’m sorry that I can’t remember his name. He was a great guy. The sangria was lovely and refreshing.
Amazing food and service; I go every time I’m in NYC! I’ve never been disappointed; highly recommend.
This restaurant was recommended to us by friends who have been to the city many times. The service is outstanding and the food is good but it was just my husband and I and I think this is more of a group or family place. You order platters to share food and we just couldn’t eat all of it and I felt like it was a waste. That’s just a personal issue because I hate wasting food. But, personal issues aside, this is a great place to dine in NYC and more affordable than other restaurants.
We have been to Tony’s DiNapoli a few times and have never been disappointed. This time wasn’t any different. Food was outstanding as usual and our waitress Danielle was great from beginning to end. She was very pleasant and personable and most importantly helpful. Cannot wait until we dine here again!
Food was delicious, as always. Our server, AG, was excellent.
Whenever we’re in the city, Tony DiNapoli’s is a must for us.
We’re looking forward to our next visit.
Would highly recommend.
Excellent dinner! Food top notch.
Do NOT miss eating at Tony di Napoli’s when visiting NYC! The food is TREMENDOUS! So delicious, I considered licking the plate clean! The portions are seriously large, definitely share...but leave room for dessert! The waitstaff was personable and friendly...made for a fabulous dining experience. ❤️
Tonys was fabulous. The food was great. There were seven of us at the table and everyone loved what they chose. From Caesar salad to seafood pasta all was delicious. Thanks Tonys for once again pleasing all.
The food and service were very good.
