Tony's Di Napoli - Midtown
Went for lunch and ordered two appetizers and two lunches (chicken marsala and salmon). The stuffed mushrooms were okay amd the motzarella app never came out. Finally, the waitress made her way over and when we asked about it, she slapped her forehead and said she forgot. The table to our right and left got their meals before us and we ordered before them. When ours finally came out, they were cold and the gravy had a gel like skin from sitting so long. The pasta and broccoli side was good. The waitress offered coffee and complimentary tiramisu, both which were good. Overall, prices are expensive but the food doesn’t leave you walking out saying, “that was delicious!”
Even arriving late, we were very well recieved. They gave to us a nice table and the service was very good.
Very nice Italian Restaurant with a great wait staff. Food is good with large portions.
Food is always good. Family style dining. Very consistent.
The food was amazing and service was even better. Drinks brought to table in under two mins and food was brought 7 minutes after ordering! Would recommend to anyone visiting the city who was great Italian food.
Very cheap, good quality, quick service, low noise level and tables not too close to each other.
Pasta was served room temp and calamari was ok.
This place was perfect for our birthday gathering. Food was delicious and service was superb! Servings were generous, no one left hungry...and we even had leftovers. Definitely plan to return on our next trip to New York City!
We stopped by after seeing a Broadway Play. The food and service are first rate. Our server Ken took great care of us. We ordered the Mixed Seafood and it was delicious!
This is one of our favorite restaurants whenever we are in the Times Square area. Food is always great and the service is always on point. If you are looking for a romantic dinner this is not the restaurant for you. Very loud (but fun) and tables are close together.
This dinner was to celebrate a birthday with family. We were seated promptly and the service was excellent. The waiter was knowledgeable and helped us with the amount of food we would need. Overall a very good experience.
My husband and I love eating at Tony D's any time we are in NY. This weekend we brought friends with us, it was their first experience. They loved it. Food was yummy and service was impeccable. We already know we are going back in April.
Our waiter was outstanding, the food was great. Got in and out quickly.
Can’t wait to go again the waiters all had a very down to earth mood and a very funny sense of humor which I enjoyed very much planning on our next visit
From the moment we arrived we were seated very promptly. Our waiter Ajay was attentive to all of our needs and was extremely helpful when ordering our meal from the menu. Would definitely use OpenTable again when dining again.
Food was great, a little noisy but still a good experience.
It was excellent! We’ll no doubt be going back!
Generally I am skeptical of restaurants located in highly touristed areas. Tony's exceeded my expectations. Great food, friendly, efficient service, and good value within 1 block of Times Square. Who would have guessed? I would go back without hesitation.
The food was good but I’m not keen on the platter concept—there’s so much food and if everyone in the group doesn’t want the same food, then lots goes to waste. Also, we were seated in an area where every time the front door opened, we were hit with a gust of very cold air—not pleasant! Finally, the noise was excessive and it was hard to chat with my family.
Excellent food and service. We were celebrating a dating anniversary and they made it special
Chicken Parm entree was delicious as usual. Waiter was excellent and service was super quick given how crowded it was. With popularity comes then typically loud NYC atmosphere. Wish it wasn’t so noisy but can’t hold that against the restaurant.
Tony's is our favorite restaurant when visiting NYC. The food was especially delicious on our last visit. The service and food are always top notch. Highly recommend Tony's for everyone.
We had an unreasonable timeframe to eat. Our waiter was outstanding and accommodated our crazy timeframe.
Cerebrated my daughters 16th birthday at Tony's. There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed the food and service. We had fried calamari, Caesar salad, Chicken Parm and Chicken Frances, rigatoni ala vodka and they customized the sauce with no mushrooms. Dessert was a brownie Sunday for the bday girl complete with candle and song...tartufo and tiramisu shared with the table. With soft drinks and 1 coffee came to about $40pp. A bit Loud but they sat us in the back in a more private less noisy area which was appreciated. We Would definitely go again. Plan a reservation well in advance...at least a month or more for a pre Broadway show dinner.
Good service. Hearty food in generous family style portions
We lunched before a Broadway show. We loved Tony’s!
I would and I have recommended Tonys di Napoli many many times .
the food is great the service is great the ambiance is great even the prices are great considering at lest two can eat from each dish .
anyone that is in manhattan should go to Tonys di Napoli .
The bartender at the bar was friendly and kind....the food was amazing..we had chicken and shrimp parm, spinach, and pasta..and an assortment of desserts. Sadly, our server was barely attentive to us..
This was a fantastic experience. Tough to choose a place in NYC that’s not crazy priced and has really good food and fantastic service. This was the place. Will go back each and every trip to the city
The food was great and very plentiful. Every plate is big enough for at least 2 adults. The service we received was excellent. The food was served pretty quickly even though we were there on Valentine’s Day
It was for Valentine’s. great Italian food and perfect portions (coming from an Italian). The only thing I wish they would do is play old school Italian music or stuff from the 50s versus whatever seemed to be on the radio like Alanis morisette
We chose the chicken parm and penne ala vodka. Food was excellent! We enjoyed the restaurant as well, service was good and we felt the meal was a great value.
Fantastic food in very busy but friendly atmosphere
Amazing food food and service I thought it would be chaotic because it was Valentine's Day, but it wasn't every staff member was delightful and organized and professional. They didn't rush us and not to mention we were in Times Square.
Waiter was the best, he made our night. Wind from door opening was annoying because we kept getting hit by cold air. Other than that it was amazing.
Very cramped and uncomfortable. Linguine with garlic and oil was extremely bland. Chicken Marsala was flavorless
If you’re looking for a great dining experience with bountiful portions at a good prices then Tony DiNapoli’s is the place for you! There you can feast on your favorite Italian dishes in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is amazing, served family style that goes a long way. An inviting place for families with children as well Tony’s offers a children’s menu and is attentive to those with food sensitivities. Tony’s always an exceptional experience!!!
IWe are from Georgia and it has been 16 years since our last visit, but we were still blown away by the great food and wonderful service!!! We have sent many friends there when we heard they had trips to NYC planned. Thanks for keeping the restaurant as we remembered it!
Wonderful dinner. Great service, great food, just the right pace for a special date.
