Tony Roma's is a full service, casual dining, family friendly restaurant located on the second floor inside the Grand Harbor Resort & Waterpark in Dubuque, Iowa. We are branded from a corporation that is known world-wide for Ribs, Steaks, and Seafood. Tony Roma's Dubuque location offers a variety of amenities beyond our world class service and exemplary cuisine. We offer one of the best views on the Mississippi River. During the summer, relax on our riverfront patio, sipping on a well acclaimed Platinum Romarita, or devour a rack of our succulent Baby Back ribs. We offer live music annually throughout the summer and also invite you for some "Roma Therapy" during our Happy Hour specials Monday thru Friday from 3pm-6pm. In addition, Tony Roma's Dubuque has multiple catering options available, both on and off site, and furnishes many different fundraising opportunities.

Food was just Ok. The table they sat us at had the sun beating in the window and the shade pulled provided little protection. This window should have a shade that blocks the sun. Our server was sweet but a little over the top and we had to keep reminding them for things requested like a highchair. Normally love this restaurant :(.

EXTREMELY DISAPOINTED! I have been going to this Tony Roma's for several years and I have NEVER had the experience I had this past week. (Fri 02/16/18). I have had bad service before but never bad food. This time the service AND the food was poor. Our waiter did not come back to refill our drinks even when we asked. They were busy, we thought he forgot so we flagged him down and asked again. Never came back to table after he took our order until he brought the check. He didn't even bring our food out. One of us ordered Prime Rib, med-well....it was barely brown on the outside and inside was raw. I ordered steak medallions, med-well, and ribs. Steak was raw and tasted as if it was bad. Another got the Nolieta Panini and they didn't have the sauce on it and it was cold enough that the cheese had started to harden. The baked potatoes were WAY over done to the point that the skin was hard and crusty and the inside was practically petrified. It was all barely luke warm and the potatoes were so cooled that the butter did not even melt on them. They took the prime rib back to reheat it and it came out almost like it was when they took it. My steak medallions were never addressed, nor were the potatoes. She just stated she was sorry. Apparently not sorry enough to do anything about it. You definitely need a cook or cooks in there that know what they are doing because what you have now is ridiculous. That food should never have been served in that condition. Needless to say, it will be a LONG time before we ever come back there IF we ever do. We also noticed that another table had made some complaints about their meal however I do not know about what. If you don't address these issues, you will be going under and it won't take very long. VERY DISAPOINTED.

When we arrived, we were told that Tony Roma's do not use this service any longer. If this is true, then they need to take this off their website.

Found out they don’t look at the reservations made on Open Table or honor them. Hostess was not friendly. I showed her the reservation I had made using the app she became hostile. We waited for a table but we should have just left and went somewhere else.

I was told that they don't accept OpenTable reservations for less than 6 people. We had the ribs and barbecue chicken. Both were just rewarmed and quite dry. Not the best dining experience. However the service was good.

Service was fine. We had a young, inexperienced server, but he was friendly and really tried his best. Didn't like that people were coming in with wet swimwear. This ruined the atmosphere. Menus were sticky.

My husband and I ordered steaks medium and medium rare, they were well done. I ordered one of the cherry drinks that is on the drink menu and I couldn't even drink it so I requested a lemon drop martini which came to me in a small drink glass and was more of a vodka lemonade. We had a view of the river which was beautiful other than that we were not pleased. Food was overpriced and not good. We will not go back.

Very disappointed in the staff when I showed up, including the manager on duty. I had made a reservation and they did not have it. I said I made it through the web page, and they all told me, oh, we don't use that, don't even look at it. Thankfully I showed up 20 min early and they put a tables together. Reservation was for 15. Problem was, they put us right by a register that every waiter or waitress uses. So we were constantly bumped into until we decided as a group to totally move the tables. They did not like us so close to other booths, that no one was in, but at least we were not bumped into and having staff comment on our conversation. We did have a great waiter, very friendly but slow...I realize food for 15 takes time, but just to get another drink, the checks and to pay the checks...Food was very good.
