   Restaurant is in a desperate need of refurbishment. Carpets worn and two out of four of ladies toilets out of order. This has been the case for a while. Not particularly warm while sitting and food was lukewarm as well. Really sad as I’ve been a frequent visitor to the restaurant while in Glasgow and I keep giving it another chance. The kitchen also did not have particular ingredients for a seafood risotto that I was going to order so I changed to something else. None of this is a reflection on the staff who are trying their best to do their job.

   It was very quiet and food wasn’t the best like we always remembered it was. We won’t be back sadly and also be careful about the bill they tried to charge us an OPTIONAL £6 tip which we did not agree on at all!

   Not good from the start, sitting at a table/booth next to the wall, which was not only grubby in general but had splatters of tomato sauce on it The Next issue was no draught lager and only hot corona in bottles. Ever hopeful when the food arrived, it looked ok, but the pizza base was undercooked, and the lasagne was certainly not fresh home made loads of sheets of lasagne but not a lot of meat sauce and was warm but not hot, and the chips were cheap frozen rubbish and again mostly lukewarm and soggy. As you may have guessed we won't be back.

   Booked this for a family reunion meal with people visiting from overseas. What an embarrassment. Service was terrible. Waitress had no idea about the menu and kept asking us to repeat our order. One plate arrived cold. Still waiting for the chilli for the pizza. Staff were functional, but aloof and unfriendly. No atmosphere whatsoever. Terrible choice.

   Arrived at 6:20pm and was told we could not have the Prezo menu because it finished at 6:30pm. Find this ridiculous as it does not take 10 minutes to order food. We were eventually allowed to order from the Prezo menu and I ordered carbonara without ham and replaced the ham with mushrooms. Was disappointed to be charged £1 extra on the bill for mushrooms when I just replaced the ham for mushrooms? Surely this is discrimination for vegetarians? Ham is more expensive than mushrooms. I paid the £1 fee but would not rush back. At my local Tony macaronis I do not get charged the £1.

   Tony (bad) Macaroni ain't so good at macaroni ... Macaroni was bland and greasy. Absolutely no sauce so how it's greasy is a different story. Restaurant had 3-4 tables in and we were all sat together in a small area. Server was lovely and was good with requests I wouldn't go back for the macaroni.

   Terrible experience No steak available ( they blamed supplier) No fish available ( ditto) No Diet Coke ( supplier hadn’t delivered) We ordered prawns - they were soggy and warm - terrible The restaurant clearly has some supplier issues Avoid

   I have visited the Braehead branch and had a lovely meal, in clean surroundings and a good chef. The Glasgow branch is well passed its usable date. The vinyl seats especially the headrests were filthy. The carpets going down stairs were bad beyond description. My breaded mushrooms were still semi frozen inside, the minestrone soup was vinigarey and the Bolognese was too salty. Not an experience to be repeated in the Glasgow Toni Macaroni 's 😞😠

    Great choice of venue, lots of food options, good music and not too loud. Definitely go back.
