    We had a light dinner here. The restaurant is lovely. Business casual and very nice. I ordered the French onion soup and Mediterranean salad, both were good. My husband had the corn and crab chowder which he said was outstanding and the calamari which he also raved about.

    Both the really nice filet, and the average rack of lamb, suffered from the alleged demi-glace which had a strong bullion flavor too it. Mashed potatoes were good but at the price point a third item like a green vegetable was expected but not given. The Caesar salad was huge but a little boring. Had to ask for the read which was good.

    Amazing food. Amazing service. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and the appetizers were delicious. Even the sides were too notch. They made sure to make our anniversary very special! I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone! We will be dining there again!!!!!

    We were greeted by the host and seated. Server poured water and took our cocktail order. It took just shy of 20 mins to get 2 martinis and a beer. We ordered our app along with our dinner. Shrimp cocktail was good. My daughter and her boyfriend ordered the 14 Oz Rib Eye @ $46, I ordered the Duck. We had to ask our server for steak knives which should've been provided when serving the meals. The steaks were full of muscle and hard to cut. My duck was delicious. When we finished our meal, the dirty plates sat there in front of us until we paid the bill and left. The server had been back to the table twice at that point with ample time to clear the table. I think when you have a steak that's shy of $50 bucks, it BETTER be good. Service was not great. It was our first visit and we don't intend on returning.

    We went there for our anniversary. Food was pretty good. Our salads were huge. It was a cute place and we sat by he window. Teddy C was our server and he was excellent, one of the best I have had in quite a while

    Tonic has a menu with something for everyone. We all enjoyed our entrees. My favorite, though I did not order it this time, is the chickpea cakes. I was disappointed that they stopped making the chophouse potatoes though (they were so good!). Noise level energetic because we were seated next to The Juniper Room where there was a party going on.

    I was disappointed with the entree I ordered. The scallops were cooked perfectly and were tender; however they were served with a heaping pile of soggy, mushy, oily eggplant. In fact, a server insisted it was mushroom! The salad and dessert were very good.

    Good food not much different from other steak houses In similar price range. My daughter love her steak, good medium rare. Service was good. Our waitress was attentive. Like it that it was not crowded given it is Mother’s Day. Validated parking ticket would have been nice. It was not expensive at all but would have been nice.

    Unfortunately the overall experience was very lack luster from the greeting from the hostess to the service. We were looking forward to restaurant week menu and we were left quite disappointed. From what I understand Tonic is a steak house and even with the understanding restaurant week can mean a bit less quality, the cut of meat was a very poor version of a new york strip, zero marbling or flavor. I have never had a steak so under seasoned, it tasted like nothing. Overall it's an experience I would not recommend or repeat.

    We had never been to Tonic before but we were impressed with the place and the service. The food was a little expensive but that is be expected in the downtown of the city of Wilmington, De. The only problem with the location is they don't validate parking in the parking garages and on street parking is a little hard to find because the parking meters are not in effect after 6 pm. Other than that, the food is good and the service is excellent. We do recommend if your looking for a good seafood or steak dinner in Wilmington, De, try Tonic!

    We went there for restaurant week lunch. The place is just beautiful. The waiter and the food was just top shelf. I would definitely go back for the salmon tartare. The cod sandwich was very tasty, but could have used a little bit more cod. But overall we'll be back.

    We probably would not have tried this spot out if we weren’t given a gift card, only because it’s a bit out of our normal area. We were blown away by this restaurant. The staff was very attentive, food and drinks both came out in reasonable time, and all was delicious. We plan on returning!
