We have eaten here about 3 times as it was a block form our Motel. The Mac and cheese is best. The crab cakes are from canned crab would not recommend this at all. They have great mocktails.

Recommend a reservation since a popular spot. The outdoor area is great when weather is pleasant. Food was tasty and service prompt!

All was great except for the hot water for tea--it wasn't! I loved the taco salad, and my companions really liked their burger and crab cakes.

While our server was friendly our lunch order got lost. The response "it's coming" is unprofessional and immature. Acknowledge that there was an error and being corrected. Trying to fool smart people results in never returning versus returning.

It was a perfect weather day to sit outside on our lunch hour. Always love their fish tacos and tried the Port City Optimal Wit beer for the first time and it was great.

Food was good. Great location by GW. Place gets very busy so don't expect speedy service at those times!

The first floor may appeal to the youthful crowd (outdoor, bar, and stool seating), but I appreciate the elevator, and the second floor table dining without mosquitoes and flies buzzing about and nipping at my blood. My guests cleaned their plates of the quinoa salad. I had the crab cakes. they were tasty as was the corn and asparagus side.

I had driven by the this place the whole summer I was working in DC and it had always been buzzing with energy- it was past time that I tried it out. I went during happy hour, which was perfect!, I got a few apps and drinks. I sat outside, too. The tots were definitely worth it!! You get so many you need at least 3 people to finish the basket they give you. Try it out!

Don't skip the tots...EVER.
I hold business lunches here at least once a month and have never been disappointed. Great location, fantastic menu, attentive staff...what else could you ask for?
If you're in the neighborhood, don't miss out. And by the way, did I mention not to skip their TOTs?

Next time I would skip the tator tots. Two of us had entree salads that were very good. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The place was crowded and had a lively vibe. We were dining pre-Kennedy Center. It's about a 15 min. walk, but easy enough if the weather is good and you're able.

They push the tater tots, which are indeed yummy. Don't make the mistake I did, which is ordering a heavy entree afterward. I got mac and cheese with mushrooms and carmelized onions, which was delicious but too much. They brought the salad and entree at the same time, and before we'd finished our tots, which irked me.

The hamburger bun was stale. The hamburger was flavorless. The tater tots were flavorless. No need to ever eat here again.

Very disappointing. Food has gone downhill while prices have gone up. Asked to have price adjusted for salad because ordered without salmon and yet was charged full price because manager refused to adjust. Apparently not interested in happy customers. Will be scratching Tonic off my list.

Read mixed reviews but tried it anyway. It was easy to get to from where we stayed. The food was good but not great.
