We have been to Tonic several times before for pre theater dining. It is a short walk. We arrived in good time and our waitress was great, brought drinks, took our meal order and so forth. After an hour I asked to speak to the manager about our order as we had received a few apologies already. Almost immediately our food was brought. The food was great as always. I had noticed there were several more tables added on the other side of the restaurant and wondered if the kitchen was not up to the higher demand. If we had not had a show to be on time for it would not have mattered. The manager did reduce our bill. We will be back.

Really disappointing service. The app you order from was useless and our poor server was overworked. Drakes came after the food, even though we ordered first. I have been going there for years, but this was the last time for me.

They encourage you to order through the web now, so you have to put in your credit card before anything is processed. It is a step down from full-service. Still gave five stars due to good happy hour that runs until 7.
