Gorgeous view and amazing food that tickled my taste buds for hours afterwards! Really worth the long trip from South Devon. A little on the pricey side but a truly memorable meal. The sauce on the bass was delicious.

We had a fabulous lunch at Tom's as always. The fish stew was delicious and there was a superb gooseberry dessert on the menu. It's refreshing to see an innovative dessert these days and this one was excellent. A wonderful sea view and the option to sit inside or out. Definitely the best place to eat in Lyme Regis.

Dinner for four for a birthday and it was a delight. Cocktails to start - hubby especially liked the house martini - and an array of beautiful starters. Scallops, oysters and crab coquette all delicious and divinely presented. Half a lobster for mains along with the beef and the catch of the day. And wow what gorgeous food. Not pretentious, portion sizes just right, and super tasty. Attentive and smiling staff, laid back elegance and a view of Lyme Bay right there- highly recommend. Oh and a little chocolate birthday treat for teenagers birthday - such a lovely touch.

Awesome ! Everything was tip top from the service to the food. As an added bonus - on a sunny day - it was so lovely to be al fresco with an elevated sensational sea view ; but under a seagull proof canopy so one wasn’t having to guard your food with your life, as sadly you do at nearly every other outdoor eaterie on the sea front . We will be back.

What a great restaurant! We ate the early bird menu which is terrific value. Asparagus salad quite perfect, including soft boiled quail's eggs, super-thin parmesan and succulent asparagus. Sea bream perfectly cooked and served in plenty of creamy buttery sauce with spinach underneath and a wonderfully mysterious herby note. Utterly yummy. Gooseberry dessert tdf. Wish this were my local.

I booked a table at Tom's for Sunday 25th May as part of a Bank Holiday getaway for a group of girlfriends. It was selected due to the very positive reviews and lots of fish options and it didn't disappoint. I had the crab croquetta to start and the seabass as a main, both of which were delicious, beautifully cooked and beautifully presented. Other friends had the catch of the day as their main, which they also thoroughly enjoyed. Lucy, our server was incredibly attentive and courteous throughout, which only enhanced the whole experience. All in all, I would highly recommend Tom's, both for couples dates and group get togethers.

Always looking for somewhere to eat that’s got a wow factor. The setting for Toms is great and the ambience is relaxing and informal. Staff were attentive and friendly and willing to listen to requests. Food was fabulous although my one criticism was 3 tiny scallops which made up one mouthful for £15 seemed out of balance with the main course - Lobster and Hake cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back but not somewhere you could eat every month!

The restaurant is set with maximum opportunity to enjoy the view of beautiful Lyme Bay and staff are attentive and friendly to an equal level of perfection. The food definitely did not disappoint, my scallops were cooked perfectly followed by lobster and delicious dressing with an interesting salad of celeriac remoulade. My husband had the beef dish and was equally delighted. But the show stealer was indeed the gooseberry dessert which we were happy to say we bagged the last 2. Clearly one of the best restaurants in Lyme Regis. Looking forward to our next trip.
