Tom’s Kitchen Birmingham is the latest Restaurant, Bar and Deli to open, located in The Mailbox, right in the heart of Birmingham city centre

Open daily, the restaurant serves British favourites, comfort food classics & seasonal specials in a relaxed & informal brasserie setting.

With General Manager Jamie Moss at the helm, the restaurant is open for lunch, dinner and our famous weekend brunch, making it the perfect spot to enjoy all year round.

Seasonality & local produce are key to Tom’s Kitchen, offering a collection of menus created by Tom Aikens & brought to you by Head Chef Tom Wells & his team.

In addition to the restaurant, the bar welcomes diners, as well as guests wanting to drop in for an after-work beer or pre-dinner cocktail.

Private and semi-private dining options are also available, suitable for all types of events, celebrations and corporate meetings.

although i recieved conformation the day before from opentable, the restaurant was in fact closed for business and has been for a month, complete waste of time travelling 100 miles for a suprise birthday treat, although we got the surprise!

Booked a table for my sisters birthday lunch. Travelled down from sheffield to Birmingham especially and was so looking forward to our meal. Only to find the place shut down! Very very disappointing that the restaurant hadn’t done us the courtesy of informing us ahead so we might have made alternative arrangements. For an establishment like this, I’d have expected a lot more. There’s no point having a Michelin star if that’s how customers are treated!

Went on a Monday and were the only diners bar plus two other tables Yet they were out of one their special and the house wine We then had to choose others Service variable but food was good Would recommend though they need to ensure that when quiet they are as good as when busy

Haven't been here for a while after a couple of bad experiences (after quite a few good experiences).. was better, service was good except getting the bill paid which took forever for the card machine to arrive.. noticed another table also having to resort to going over to the kiosk. Starters were good.. tartar (although the egg was over cooked and a bit hard..). Main courses were mostly ok, although I opted for the Tom's Burger which wasn't too impressive. Overall, would come back but still some improvement to be had..
