Tommyknocker Brewery & Pub
The Tommyknocker Brewery & Pub in Idaho Springs offers up classic pub fare with a few twists, like the duck wings and the homemade bacon poppers. Even the salads are a little bit different, with offerings like nuts and berries to which you can add blackened or broiled chicken. And for a deliciously different soup, try the Tommyknocker Brewery & Pubs tomato Swiss artichoke.
Then, when you get to mains, try the goldrush pork green pork green chili, the elk burger or a serving of pub brewben, which is a classic corned beef sandwich with sauerkraut on rye. As you might expect, you can also get pub-style fish and chips. Theres a kids menu too at Tommyknocker Brewery & Pub.
Excellent brewpub with good food. Had a great time and the beer is fantastic!
It was fine. Nothing special.
We were excited to try this brewery because the food (and beer!) looked delicious.
Servers and many of the staff members - with the exception of two people - did not know how to wear masks properly. Three of the employees that were walking the floor had their noses hanging out and the bartender didn’t even have it over his face. That made us quite uncomfortable.
Food was okay. Got a bacon burger that was drenched in bbq sauce so you could only taste that. Fish tacos were alright, not too flavorful unfortunately.
I’m really forgiving these days and I want to keep it in perspective that this is a Brewery ( and the beer was excellent). But food did not impress most of us, although portions were generous. Just ok. Love that they are doing outdoor dining.
We have eaten there many times! Never been disappointed! Even with Covid restrictions there was no worries! I would Advise a reservation, but the wait did not seem to take too long if it was a spur of the moment decision. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, great beer!
We were able to sit under the covered area outside and had terrific service. The food was outstanding. Please remember to bring your mask per the health department rules. We really enjoyed the experience!
Great food and awesome location. Waitress was very rude and short and seemed annoyed to serve us. Actually challenged us as we were leaving about a tip. Left $50 tip on a $200 ticket already and felt like taking it back. First time I’ve gotten bad service.
Because of Covid they had the street blocked off with some tables in sun and some under tents for shade. We were a party of 11 and seated pretty quick! Chelsea (I think) was our server and she did an amazing job. Helped us pick the best house brews that matched our taste. Appetizers And main meals were delicious! Probably the best bbq pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had. Our server was even kind enough to split our bill into 2 separate checks as we were 2 families. Our bill for 6 adults with 4 of us each having 2 beers was $192. Not too bad for 2 apps, 6 meals , 8 beers and a few sides...We were happy to be sitting outside and tables were spread apart to be Covid friendly.,.,
When we go there, we were seated right away thanks to OpenTable. The beers at Tommyknocker are always great with a nice selection to choose from. Their food is excellent as well. If you like fish and chips this is some of the best.
I love Tommyknockers I live in Idaho Springs and we go there at once or twice a year
Our favorite little spot close to Denver and in the mountains! Food is always yummy! Beer is delicious! Service is spot on!
Food was great! There was a strong greasy smell while we were there and my clothes felt the wrath of it even hours after we left. Overall, good experience though.
