Tommy's has changed a lot since we first went to this place in Feb24. Saturday night used to be bustling but was quiet as a nunnery last weekend. Birria tacos weren't as legendary as I remember, fish tacos were very delish but the big letdown was the cauli taco which was tasteless and couldn't work out what it wanted to be. The waitress didn't seem fussed with our feedback. Will find somewhere more in-demand to spend our money next time as it will prob guarantee a nicer feed and value for money.

Outside tables need better/clear table numbers and better wind break. Menu and online menu were a little inconsistent too. But fantastic food and any issues were sorted out efficiently.

A very average experience - hopefully it was just an off night. Staff were nice and apologetic when things went wrong. The food wasn't anything that would bring me back, though. Nice vibe at the place to have a sit and chat - not a massive drinks selection except for the house cocktails which weren't the greatest. Glad I tried it but not a favourite.

Forgot about the consommé for all 4 of us. Also, we went for the taco special. Actual product looks nothing like advertised on insta. Skinny little chicken bites instead of fried chicken. Also, very different amounts of salsa in between the 4 of us

Dinner was delicious and great value. The juiciest chicken I've had out and the jalapeno poppers, which are spicy had the best flavour, definitely the best ones I've had. Tacos are great. Flavour and seasoning on point. I'd definitely recommend to others and would dine again.

We had high hopes for Tommy Taco. First impressions were positive however, we did not stay to eat based on the very poor quality of the drinks and service. Between my friend and I, we have spent a great deal of time in Mexico City, Oaxaca and southern Texas so we know what Mezcal and a good margarita and other Mexican cocktails should taste like. The four drinks we had coat $86 and were extremely poor quality. Very disappointing and clearly made with inferior ingredients. We did not want to waste any more cash on giving the food a chance. If you can’t get a Tommy Margarita right when you are a taco bar, you’re in the wrong game. I’ve had a better margarita at a dive bar in Texas.

We went specifically for the birria tacos, we got there to see there was barely anything on the menu and were really confused. We went and asked the staff for them to tell us they ran out of beef and chicken so they weren't serving anything that had chicken or beef in it (which was pretty much the whole menu) including birria tacos of course. We drove 40 mins for this so we were really disappointed we weren't made aware of this before we came. Worse experience!
