Tomiño - Taberna Gallega

Traditional Galician food from northwest Spain. Our Menu features a combination of traditional and modern Galician and Spanish cuisine. It focuses on tapas, seafood, and shareable main dishes. A few to highlight would be the Pulpo á Feira, empanada de Bacalao con pasas, Arroz Caldoso con Bogavante, and the Chuletón de Vaca Vieja en Josper. We have an all Spanish wine list with a focus on Galicia's % DO's. We also offer a great selection of Spanish beers, vermouth, cocktails, and signature Gintonics.
We hope to see you in soon.
"Benvidos e bo proveito!"
Authentic Spanish meals and really good! Try the coffee and Gin tonic cocktails as well. They were suberb. Individual and perfectly rounded better than in most bars.
A great place for Tapas and wine -- the food is exceptional, and is reasonably priced. We had several different tapas, the flaming octopus was fantastic, and the assortment of meats and cheeses were complemented by a great selection of Spanish wines.
Lovely food and ambience, a great place to meet for a more relaxed experience.
Seating for reservation was over 40 minutes late, but we still had a fantastic time. They did not disappoint.
Food was delicious as usual. Service is great, and I always like the ambience.
Best food, best people, best service... Tomiño is always wonderful and we love to celebrate meaningful events with them!
Perfect in every way, great experience! Fantastic service, including a very friendly owner. I'd positively recommend Tomiño.
I am half Spaniard and I was specifically looking for place where the food would be as authentic as I remember while growing up. To say that Tomiño met my expectations is an understatement. The food was exquisite and the service was phenomenal. I can’t wait to go back again and again! I felt I was eating my grandmothers food again!! Soo yummy!!
Great place for tapas
Authentic Spanish food from the Galician (Northwestern) region of Spain! I cannot wait to return!
Amazing!!!!! Best spanish restaurant!!
We were a party of three. Two of us are pescatarians. We all found the menu sufficiently broad and varied enough to satisfy our foods of choice. The Tapas servings were generous and were all prepared very well and were very tasty. Food was delivered in a phased format and was very timely. Wine list was very good and the service was excellent. This was our first visit but not our last. We intend to return in the near future.
Very special experience on all levels, both in quality, unique selections, ambiance, service. Superb Spanish food from Gallicia. Tapas are delicious, unusual, extremely high quality. Desserts also outstanding. Excellent wines, beers, vermouth which is special to the region. Noise level makes conversation easy. Service is solicitous but allows you to have a leisurely meal. Have been twice for lunch/brunch. Well priced as well.
We went there for a birthday. The food is amazing and the service was outstanding. They have true Galician/Spanish food. Very delicious and decently priced. Def a spot we will go on a regular basis
Delicious food and good cocktails, sometimes it gets to noise and very hard to have a conversation. However the ambience and unique plates are more relevant
Authentic modern take on taps and large portions than the usual tapas size. Definitely try the scallops and egg omelet!
Being that this was listed as a destination for foodies, I was a bit disappointed by the food. A few dishes were delicious (a salad, the scallops, great tortilla Espanola plate) but a the rest were unremarkable (ribs, sardines, veggies). The cocktails were good. The ambience was open and straight forward, less cozy than I expected, more Euro cheesy.
Went for the first time to celebrate my birthday and had a great time! Food and wine were phenomenal. Will definitely be going back.
Amazing everything. Great ambiance, exceptional service and unbelievable food.
Food was excellent
Always great to stop and have some tortilla and pulpo at Tomino, one of my favorite spots in the city.
A true galician restaurant, with food equal to a good restaurant in Galicia. Not easy to duplicate, and my most enthusiastic congratulations for achieving it!
Great food and ambiance. Outstanding.
Food was delicious as always and our waiter Jonathan was SO WARM AND WELCOMING! He definitely made us enjoy our dinner even more ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Realmente especial.
Great experience if you want to taste real Galicia food , good quality and service .
Excellent small portions but very satisfying
Great experience in Spanish food
Great wine, fantastic food, and amazing service! Went for a friend’s birthday dinner and was blown away but how great everything was. Their Spanish wine selection is also incredible.
Best Spanish food I've ever had outside of Spain (I've traveled there quite a bit). Stylish, modern, comfortable dining room. If full, will get loud due to hard surfaces, but there's no intrusive music and tables are relatively well spaced by NYC standards. Wide-ranging, reasonably priced Spain-centric wine list; lots of good options by the glass as well. Nice variety of vermouths, sherries and orujos too. Five tapas shared by two made for a filling meal. High quality across the board, but the grilled wild mushroom casserole was extraordinary in terms of balance of flavors and textures and overall complexity. Mango ice cream was the best I've ever tasted, and the torrija de bica is a delight you probably won't find anywhere else.
Speaking as a Spaniard I can say the food is great. The portions are large for tapas and a great value we have been there twice and both times we were treated to great food both times .If you want typical Spanish food this is the place.
Try the wines the different wines and desserts
Just an amazing restaurant! New Yorkers are finally enjoying fine Spanish gastronomy thanks to the great cheffs and people at “Tomiño”
Best restaurant in NYC
This restaurant never disappoints.
Always a go to restaurant for us if we are craving for excellent Spanish dishes.
Always great to have lunch at Tomino, best spanish food in the Us and great service.
