Step out of the bustling cobblestone streets of Temple Bar and down the stairs to Tomahawk Steakhouse where beautiful windows allow in light from street level. This is an intimate and unique dining setting – and our steaks are the star of the show.

We have spent months researching where to source the best steaks from around the world and the results of that exploration is there is no better beef than Irish and we are proud to say that we serve only the market-best at Tomahawk.

Tomahawk has 80 delightful seats for you and your party to choose from. We have comfy corners matched with matte timber tables adorned with leather seats, where diners can enjoy their delicious meals under the ambient street lighting that pours in from above. Or you can choose to perch comfortably along the gorgeous timber dining bar set around our open kitchen and watch the theatre of a professional kitchen at work in front of you.

Very nice steakhouse. Has an Argentinian flare. Delmonico steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the garlic potato’s were very flavorful.

Traveling alone. Ate at the bar. Delmonico steak was great! Sides of broccoli and some sort of sliced potatoes cooked in beef broth. The potatoes were amazing... could not stop eating them! Ambience was very comfortable... nothing pretentious. Open flame grill was nice to observe. Staff was friendly and engaged. Highly recommend!

A lovely place with delicious food and top-quality service. The only downside is that it’s located in a basement with no fresh air or air conditioning. It was quite hot during our visit. As I’m pregnant, I had to step outside a few times during dinner because I started to feel unwell ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

From my experience, the Tomahawk is the best steakhouse in Dublin. You can tell in every second and in every detail that the people who work there do it with passion. The quality of the steaks is outstanding. I have never eaten better steaks in any other place in the world. Every cent I spent here... and I've been there more than 15 times... It was worth it. Not only the meat, but also the side dishes, desserts and cocktails are fantastic. Everything is prepared and served with attention to detail. If you're in Dublin and want to have a wonderful evening of excellent food, you have to come to Tomahawk. You won't regret it... Promised

Lot of improvement needed to get to the level and standard of some of the better steakhouses in Dublin. In case Tomahawk would like to argue that they are not trying to compete with that category, then they should lower their price to match the quality of food they serve and the ambience that they have curated. High prices for mediocre food, noise level is so high that it’s hard to even speak with and hear the person right in front of you. Not worth it. Go to Fire steakhouse instead.
