Carl our Waiter was exceptional !
Lisa had the Octopus as a starter !
Fabulous ! The wine selection was also really nice . We started with a French Rose , which was light crisp and dry served chilled was perfect . I had the Bronzino Fish , awesome ! Lisa had the steak with fresh spinach !
We were in a rush to catch a show so no dessert ! Thank you to the chef !
Food was good, not great, but that’s an improvement for this area. This place seems to go light on their stock. We had the last glass of house Cabernet for the Thursday night. How does that happen? They have one small pepper grinder that you have to ask for. The server used it for my wife’s plate and didn’t bother to ask if wanted any, walking away instead. That’s a lack of training and emphasis on customer service, not the young lady’s fault. The place needs to invest in proper stock and training.
Visiting the area and the newly renovated restaurant was highly recommended! Food was delicious, staff was very friendly. We took her recommendations on some items- delicious! Meatballs , meatloaf and pork-chop were fabulous! And of course the desserts! Yummy cheese cake and Creme Brûlée!
tom Quick is becoming our "go to" place for a relaxing dinner with good food and drinks. If it's just my husband and me, we sit at the bar. if we are a group, we sit in the dining room. this evening was Sunday and there was lots of room for more patrons.
It was a wonderful evening until at 8:30pm an employee, not our server, came to our table and blew out our table candle saying, “We close at 9pm.” She then blew out candles on every table in our room and left. I’ve never had this happen anywhere I have dined and found it to be off-putting.
Last minute reservation - staff accommodated us quickly. Good food - Good portions - Good Cocktails. Reasonably priced. Very good overall quality
We celebrated our 34th Wedding Anniversary there and they made it so special for us! So glad we went there for our anniversary dinner
Outstanding as always. Great ambiance, service and food. The branzino and wedge salad are always a treat.
Beautiful restoration, great bar and cocktails and spectacular food and service. Highly recommend
This was my second visit to The Tom Quick Inn. We were four people. I had the wedge salad. Absolutely the best I ever had. My husband had french onion soup also delicious. I had the Bolognese pasta. It was very disappointing. I had it the first time I visited and it was delicious. This time it was watery and hardly any meat in the sauce. My husband had the meatloaf and he said it was good. We had delicious gelato and cheesecake for dessert. Our total for the four of us was $227 plus tip. 2 beers, 2 wines, 2 vodka cranberry. 2 salads, 2 soups, 4 entrees, 3 gelatos and 1 cheesecake. The portions were an okay size. Probably will not return.
Not impressed. Some of the food appeared to be prepared and I may be frozen? Was hoping for hire and food quality.
We did not know what to expect when we made the reservation. The dining room and bar was beautifully restored. We felt that we went back in time. we ordered an appetizer of calamari for the table that was overcooked and the waitress offered us a second serving. Dinner, however was delicious. The branzino was butterflied and well done and the short ribs were delicious. The side dishes are a la carte but easily could be shared. We will go back.
It was great. My only “suggestion” is it could be a little brighter. Had trouble reading the menu. But overall, it’s a great place!
Both entrees my husband and I ordered were not available, so the chef came out and talked to us and comped the new entrees (even though the ones he suggested were more expensive than the ones we originally ordered). We've eaten here before, and loved it, and will eat here again. Our waiter was absolutely lovely, too, and we made friends with our fellow diners on the porch. Really a lovely afternoon.
The service was slow. The drinks were weak. I ordered the pesto and the sauce was very watery. My husband ordered the hamburger and his bun was sopping wet with grease. Didn’t have the beer he wanted.
Just very underwhelming, especially for a restaurant that just reopened and would want to be making a food name
Nice place, good food, but limited menu. Was a quiet Sunday dinner…which was perfect. Prices for area were higher than other restaurants in Milford. Would return again.
Absolutely terrible. Restaurant was a disaster and after waiting 90 minutes for lunch we asked for it to go. No concessions no apology nothing. !!! Do not go you will waste your time and money. $67.00 later for a boxed lunch. Disaster absolutely terrible.
Great experience. Extremely friendly and professional service and nicely presented dishes. We were running late and the hosts were kind enough to hold our reservation for us and even sat us outside. Sitting out on the covered porch was great on a summer evening. Will definitely be back. Excited to see what’s in store for their menu as they continue to grow. Will definitely return.
Good food and very friendly service.
Charming atmosphere and very nice ,professional staff-Great appetizers;Fried calamari: crispy and delicious ,Beets Salad with pesto, pistachios surrounded by ricotta cheese is simply exceptional.
Main entrees are very tasty.Deserts :cream brûlée-with hint of liqueur ,very good.try.Great place .
We were a little late for our reservation but they took us anyway. Everything was very dark which is good if that is what you are looking for. We split a beet salad but they didn’t bring a spoon and the beets were definitely from a can. When we asked the waiter if we could get a different pasta than linguini with clams (my friend has arthritis in her hands and can’t manage strands of pasta), he said no - that it’s already prepared. The entrees we ordered were delicious! Meatloaf and roast beef. Dessert was very good - gelato and creme brûlée. Overall nice experience and I would go again.
My husband said it is possibly the best hamburger he’s ever eaten ! Service was friendly ; atmosphere is beautiful
This was our 3rd time at the Tom Quick Inn. The food and service were excellent. Would definitely recommend it. They also have a very nice bar.
We really had a wonderful meal at the Inn. The service was stellar and the general manager, Gary ensured it was a memorable visit, highly recommend.
Food and service were dynamite!
Used to go here a long time ago (coming to Milford for over 20 years on weekends). Nice to see this hotel updated, pleasant, and with a wonderful staff. Everyone we encountered was nice and helpful. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was very good. Nice variety of food and sat outside. Updateded awnings, tables and outside areas were wonderful. Did not see any inside updates as we ate outside, but overall we had a wonderful experience. We went at 5:30 before any rush especially 4th of July and it was pleasant. Will definitely go back (after avoiding this place for several years). Sorry we waited so long to go back.
Beautiful night to sit outside on the porch. Our server, Victoria, was pleasant, efficient and had great recommendations. The pasta was amazing and the cocktails were wonderful. Highly recommend
Charming restaurant. Dining on the covered porch was so delightful. I really enjoyed their French onion soup…. And their seared and salted fish was a must try.
The short rib pot roast is to die for! The Empress Sour is a must try cocktail. Mandy, our server, was exceptional. We will definitely be back again!
Delicious and great service. My only negative is that the dinner I ordered didn’t come with either a salad or a vegetable which I believe all entrees should.
The food was very good. The mixed drinks poor. Service very good. Loved the Bestles music. My only real complaint is the meal portions are extremely small for the money. And while other patrons were served bread, we were not.
Made a reservation for 5:30 & luckily got a table for 4 on the porch. Cocktails were delicious. Service was friendly but lacking. Water not replenished. Wrong main brought. Bread offered, never brought. Correct main brought but raw. Sent back & now 3 of us are done. Short rib came out quickly. The manager stopped to apologize & comped the entire meal. Food was very good but my chicken pot pie was a small serving. Big, delicious biscuit on top but didn’t want to eat all of that in order to fill up. Short rib was a nice portion size. Our Appetizers of beet salad & grilled octopus were more generous & good.
Happy to have them reopen & will try again.
Service can only get better!
We were seated immediately. Every staff member was attentive, and not intrusive.
The food was delicious and hot, and dessert was excellent.
Tom Quick has become our go-to restaurant when we want impeccable service and food! From the hostess to the management, everyone takes pride in their work and it shows! For amazing food and service, we highly recommend the TQ!
Thank you for taking the time to rate your experience. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Nice place and redone, area classic. The place is beautiful, and the service was great. Not sure about value. So I got the heritage pork chop (note that it is single and not plural). Great flavor the sauce, fresh apples, and braised red cabbage were phenomenal pairing. The flavors were great. All worked together.
till I got near the bone and it was pink and uncooked. That was a show stopper for me.
If your idea of a good time is to pay $25 for a single un-cook pork chop than this is the place for you. if not steer clear.
Great idea but fell WAY short on exaction.
The food was fantastic( we r foodies) the ambiance and mood music was awesome( I found the jazz genre on pandora for our ride home) wait staff and food service perfect !
We are from nyc and honestly this place should show them how it’s done!
We would highly recommend
Five stars BRAVO!
Just a nice Saturday meal
Great to see The Quick open again after 8 long years.
Very well run and organized. Menu varied and food was great.
Our first time eating at the Tom Quick Inn and it won't be our last time! We loved it!
Food was fabulous, servers were great. It was a ownderful evening.
