TB's Favorite! Hand cut 14 oz boneless and well marbled
Perfectly seasoned, pan seared and topped with crawfish Julie
House-made and pan seared. Served with a side of remoulade
We were sitting by a family that the young children each with their own gaming gadgets playing so loud we could barely hold a conversation with our party of 7 adults. We had Demetrius as our server, he was extremely attentive and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless!! One pound of Alaska Crab legs what a disappointment. They had been thawed for a long time and boiled over done for that much longer when they came to the table there was no taste and they were dried out inside and we couldn’t even crack open. The escargot add tasteless they had been overdone. The butter sauce it’s supposed to be presented in a butter sauce with garlic, fresh spices it came out a butter and some dried spices with no taste. The shrimp cocktail was a tasteless defrosted small shrimp that had been defrosted for a long time. Grilled Chicken tasteless. Will never come back
The food and service are amazing!
Excellent food and service
Justin was our waiter and he did and absolute amazing job explaining the menu and giving his presentation with the desserts the ambience of the table with the fire piece in the middle was great for my mom's birthday!
I love this place I will most definitely come back
3 star food (and décor) at 5 star prices. Under-seasoned, Over-rated, Over-priced.
Tom Brown is a wonderful experience in dining.
Fantastic food and service! Our waiter Justin was very attentive and had wonderful recommendations! We will be going back.
The service was great. Food was pretty good but overpriced even for a basic nice restaurant. They left the outdoor doors open so I kept getting bit by large mosquitoes. Much more casual than I expected which was fine. I would return.
Food fresh, courteous service and lots of smiles.
Service was prompt but somewhat hurried. Bread brought out with meal. Medium rare was actually Rare(cool red center).
Major problem was tip was to be added to total after AMEX was run. Never seen this before. Kept receipt to make sure bill is same as tip added to total
The food was excellent as well as the service. It is an upscale restaurant.
We’ve tried TB on two previous occasions. Those experiences weren’t much better. The most recent issues were:
- drink ordered were incorrect, not once, nor twice but three different times. Visually it was obvious the orders were incorrect and the waiter seemed to finally just give up.
- two of our guests ordered the Mahi Mahi. It came out grossly over cooked and tasteless.
- another guest ordered a steak medium rare. It came out basically raw. He gave up trying to send it back as the waiter disappeared.
- from a price value stance, the quality nor quantity of the food was justified by the price. Sadly, you’d receive better quality for much less from Applebee’s or Outback.
We won’t be back.
Fantastic! Our go-to place for out of town family and guests, Tom Brown’s was perfect for our weary travelers.
Our table was a table in the bar area, but actually an ideal relaxed atmosphere. Nathaniel was our server, and could not have been more genial, and accommodating.
The food was as impeccable as usual—from appetizers to soup & salad, from entrees to dessert! A great experience! Best of the best egg rolls, gumbo, French onion soup, wedge salad, scallops, salmon, and filet! Wow, what a fabulous meal!
Desserts included the creme brûlée, blueberry cheesecake, creme brûlée cheese cake, and a sweet dessert martini that is Nathaniel’s specialty.
TB’s is an area favorite, and has always been spectacular. But this particular evening was better than ever. Many thanks to the owners and their expert staff. No detail was too small or left undone.
Great server!!! A lot of fat on the steak though. I was pretty disappointed about that.
Food and service was fantastic!
As usual , a delightful evening for Us and my Sister’s Birthday .
Service, food , and ambiance were terrific
Overall I really liked the concept of the restaurant. I had the New Zealand elk tenderloin and it was quite good. Only issue we had was the steaks for my family. Two of them were way too rare, but this was quickly remedied by the wait staff. The table next to us sent their steaks back too. But all in all, great service and tasty food!
Great food and service. Pricey.
Another delicious meal! Great food, great service & great company.
Fantastic addition to Madison dining.
Amazing time, the food, the server was very professional.
Absolutely AMAZING. From the cocktails, down to desert. Service was perfect. Highly recommend trying this place out.
Excellent food and Service….
Food was great, the service fantastic. We were seated right away (we had a reservation). Definitely would return and recommend
I like the creole inspired dishes at Tom Brown’s. Jason our server was terrific. The crab cakes are creole style and enjoyed them. The mussels were fabulous. The gumbo is a nice and spicy dark roux base and very good. The lobster bisque also very good. Also a locally owned restaurant which I prefer over chains. Means prices may be more but this is because chains have more buying power by buying bulk quantities. We always enjoy an evening at Tom Brown’s.
I left Tom Brown with a full belly, as a satisfied customer , and with an everlasting experience. Tom Brown exemplified the essence of sophistication and rare elegance. If I had a third thumb, I would give my experience at Tom Brown three thumbs up 🌻🦋💕.
The venue was clean and beautiful. Our waitress was very attentive, fun, and knowledgeable of the menu and specials.
Excellent dinner and great service
We love Tom browns. The appetizers are so delicious and the food and wine is wonderful. We had a great visit and our server was wonderful.
Phenomenal experience and will definitely return!!
The food was phenomenal. The service was pretty good. The pacing of the meal was completely off, but I feel like that was a fluke. 10/10 would definitely dine there again. Escargot was a new experience and a wonderful one! Steaks were awesome! Waitress seemed to overpromise on the loaded baked potato situation, so might try something different next time... not bad, but when you're told it's a french onion dip instead of plain sour cream and then you just get plain sour cream, it doesn't seem all that great. But my fiance and I both loved it and will make it a special date night kind of place!
Tom Browns never disappoints! I love coming to this place when I'm in town. The food is delicious, great drinks and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The tomahawk ribeye is my go to when I'm here. They have delicious apps as well.
Took our friends from out of town here and we were not disappointed. Amazing food and service.
Once again, we had to wait for a table even with a reservation. While we had requested a booth or private table, our table was in the very middle of the main dining area. Our waitress was excellent - knowledgeable about the menu items and quick to meet our every need. The food was prepared well, with the exception of the filet being undercooked but too delicious to send back.
The wine and appetizers are priced appropriately. However, the entrees are priced a good bit higher than similar items at similar restaurants. They offer extensive dessert selections, some house-made.
Overall, it was a better experience than our previous visit to this location. We will return, but it is not in our top 10 favorites in the Huntsville/Madison area.
Our dinner was FANTASTIC. Food was 10/10. There must have been a mix-up in the kitchen because it did take an extra few minutes for our food to arrive. Our waitress and manager were very polite and kept updating us throughout the night. We told them we didn’t mind the wait. At the end of our meal, we received a free dessert for “being so patient”! Great service!
Excellent food, very good service, a little loud but pleasant enough for a lovely evening. Great people watching.
The soft shell crab appetizer were very good, if a bit greasy. The shrimp & fries were spectacular. My wife’s scallops & garlic mash also spectacular.
The showstopper was the dessert tray! Oh my gosh, what an incredible selection!
Always a favorite!
