Good food and really nice drinks.
Toloache never disappoints. Jorge, Miguel and the team always go above and beyond. No trip to NYC would be complete without eating here. Best dood, margaritas and service!
Staff was friendly and attentive. Restaurant has cute ambiance although very tight tables but that’s common for NYC. The food was a solid B. Not terrible that it ruined my evening but definitely wouldn’t go back.
Great food. Friendly staff.
Salsa is delicious. Lobster tacos—yum!!
Great staff - Very customer-centric. Terrific pre-show restaurant.
As always, great everything!
Best Mexican I’ve had in a while
Wonderful meal, great place for lunch before a show.
Amazing place! The food is ridiculously good and an amazing experience. Best margaritas! And by far the most delicious guacamole in the world!!!
Great food, fun environment. Always fresh and tasty guacamole. Excellent menu choices with interesting combos. Worth a visit.
Great cocktails and creative Mexican cuisine make for a wonderful pre-theatre dinner. I'll certainly return the next time I have a Broadway show.
great menu offerings, drinks and food, delish, convenient location for theater or midtown meetup.
Tried the tuna ceviche, the halibut and the fish tacos. All superb
Good for a pre-show dinner in a very attractive setting.
This place was truly amazing. The guacamole and margaritas were delicious. The ‘arroz con crema’ is next level. This really could be served in any high end restaurant and had so much fresh seafood in it. Great place, great look, great food!
Very new ce food. A beautiful t crowded and noisy, but to be expected
We celebrated our anniversary & enjoyed Toloache very much! Food was great & the service was wonderful! The restaurant is consistently good!
Pre theatre lunch. Excellent and timely service. Delicious cocktails. Especially liked the ceviche and guacamole -- tried them all. Innovative takes on Mexican traditional foods, Fresh ingredients
Wonderful waiter. Friendly and welcoming place! Food was original and all the flavors came through.
Enjoyable meal. Had reservations and was seated right away. Pleasant staff, attentive waiter. My dish had shrimp which I felt was too fishy smelling- As I ate all I can do is smell it which took away from the seasoning and taste of my dish itself. Not sure why that was.
Margaritas were very good.
We have been to Toloache numerous times and always bring friends. Each time, our friends indicate how much they LOVE it! Always a hit - never had a bad meal.
Angry front desk people
Food was not the best
The food at this restaurant is great but the set up of tables is atrocious. The tables are jammed together so tightly you are practically having dinner with the people at the neighboring table. The guy sitting at the table next to us was talking so loud I could not hear my wife speaking to me. I will never go here again.
I have been going here for over 10 years. Always amazing.
My 13 yo son and I were in NYC for a special mom-son trip. We had a delicious pre-theater dinner at Toloache- midtown. The ambiance was perfect and food was delicious. Staff was attentive and accommodating.
LIke Mexican? Want a different twist on some old favorites? Food was so good! So was the service.
Food was good but the portion was a bit too small.
We loved our experience here we were seated right away . Our server Armando was excellent, offering great advice on our selections. We had the halibut which was terrific, the tacos, also delicious and the lemon cake for dessert. Service was efficient but not rushed .Would definitely come back
very loud!!! small portions caesar salad inedible
Overpriced small portions. Had coconut ice cream $10 and it was just bigger than a quarter! Loud and you are on top of other diners. Food avarage. Once is enough.
Fantastic as always. Love the trio of guacamoles and we got a selection of tacos: lobster, chicken, fish and brisket. Delicious! A couple of mojitos topped off a great meal.
Great food excellent service! I would go back. A little pricey but woth it.
BEST PLACE EVER
Great food. We love the tacos. Service always good!
The food was very good. But unfortunately, we had to wait 30 minutes for our reservation. There is really no place in the restaurant to stand comfortably to wait and there were quite a few others waiting with reservations.
The manager did buy us a drink for the long wait with the reservation, so that was great! It just seems they need a way to manage reservations where you don't have to wait so long and/oryou have a place to wait (getting in and out of the restaurant is quite unpleasant because it is so crowded near the only door).
Excellent food and great service. Will go back.
Great food - great vibe - great service!! Love Toloache for pre-theater dining
The food was delish! The drinks were awesome and the service was friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend. Reservations before a show are a must.
We stopped here prior to seeing Wicked at the Gershwin. We decided to do appetizers for dinner given the variety they had (and also the fact that we had a late lunch and couldn't eat a big meal). The staff was very nice even though we did not order full meals. Everything we ordered was great and the only "issue" we had was that the noise level was quite loud (so loud that we had a hard time hearing each other across the table). The tables are quite close so the noise level (especially when there is a party of 8 next to you) is inescapable. I guess if you are going there as a group, it will probably be ideal but depending on the crowd, it may not be a good place for a quiet dinner.
