Tokyo Wako in Arcadia has presented customers with traditional Japanese table cooking for well over 20 years. If you want a show with your meal, the teppanyaki style used to prepare your food will fit the bill.

Fortunately, Tokyo Wako also has a fantastic menu that won't disappoint. This includes the sauces used for the teppanyaki and sushi, which are all handmade. Try the shrimp tempura, beef sashimi, garlic edamame or the truffle butter edamame. If you like seafood, Tokyo Wako has an amazing deep-friend squid and deep-fried soft shell crab that you'll love. There is even a tempura ice cream here; you can choose between vanilla and green tea.

Overall, this was a great choice for my dinner. I was staying at the Hampton Inn across the street so I decided to dine here. The food & drinks were SUPERB! Everything was great. Thank you Tokyo Wako :-)

Dined here as power went out from Eaton Canyon fire. Love this place and felt bad they had to lose all this business from the extended power outage (maybe still going as I type this). Will be back!

Waitress could have been a little more attentive. Cook was great! For the money spent on a dinner there should be more than half a cup of fried rice since you have to pay extra it rice and not that much so you should get a full cup!

I have come to this restaurant many times. My first time was on Opening Day. Ronnie and Sherry, the owners, we exceedingiy nice, and love this place.

Everything was great except I was a little annoyed at the end because I had told the server we were celebrating a birthday and they never showed up with any dessert at the end of the meal.
