Tokyo Record Bar is an izakaya-style tasting menu restaurant where we pick the food, and you pick the vibe. Located in the basement. For each seating, we will send out seven courses of food, the only thing we will ask you do is help us make the soundtrack for the night, with a selection from our extensive vinyl collection. In the mood for a drink? Don’t worry; we offer a vast selection of Champagne, Sake, Beer, and Japanese cocktails to get you right.

Just make sure you come ready to have a good time!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations within 48 hours incur a $85 per person fee. For emergencies, email info@tokyorecordbar.com. WE DO NOT HAVE A PHONE.

Tokyo Record Bar offers a seven-course Izakaya style menu and vinyl jukebox experience for $85 per person before drinks, tax, and gratuity. Everyone will choose one song from our curated vinyl list, and the staff will create the playlist using guests' song selections. All food is served family-style. Our Chef will prepare individual dishes for those who have allergies or dietary needs. We always have a vegetarian substitution available. We cannot accommodate gluten free, dairy free, soy free, allium free, or vegan diners. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please let us know your dietary restrictions in advance by making a note in your reservation. If you would like to arrive early, you can book a reservation at The Listening Room, above Tokyo Record Bar. Enjoy a glass of champagne, wine, or sake before your dinner. We have a rotating list of nightly DJs spinning vinyl starting at 7:00PM. All our seating is first come, first serve when you walk down the stairs. We are a very small space and the largest party size we can seat as a reservation is four people. Please Note: we do not have a direct phone line to the restaurant. I went with my husband on a Thursday night. We sat in the middle of the bar. It was a bit warm and it’s tight as many restaraunts can be in the area. The food was all good but because the atmosphere was so lively, I almost didn’t pay close enough attention to savoring my food. Overall, It was a fun experience!

I have been wanting to go to Tokyo Record Bar for 3 years now. Finally got a table for 4 last week, and had a memorable evening, The food, the concept, the team are all fabulous. A unique experience.. Must go. Was so immersive to have a group playlist and listen to everyone’s choices

Such a delightful dining experience! Exceeded my expectations! Every dish was incredibly delicious and I loved the ambience and vibe with the vinyl record DJ! Can’t wait to go again!

The food was not outstanding in any way, we got seated in what clearly was a makeshift addition to the bar seating next to the speakers (very hard to keep a conversation and to not feel overwhelmed) and we also got sat right in front of. The air conditioning for the entire basement.

So glad I stumbled across this place on tiktok. The hype is real. Great food. Great service. Great cooks. Everybody was friendly even the cooks. As a solo diner, this was perfect.
