Our chef was not very good. Food was under seasoned. The guy was still learning I think. Sorry, will stick to Shogun for now.
First time! We were celebrating my husband's birthday. Had a great time.
First time at the néw location and loved it! Great new atmosphere but same original Tokyo Garden taste!
Had a great time and a great meal! Don't miss the Hibachi dishes!!!
This was our first visit to Tokyo Garden and we loved it (even in the pandemic). Our waitress was super attentive and made sure to keep us updated on when food would be coming out and refilling drinks. Our chef was amazing. He did several tricks/jokes while cooking making sure we were very entertained. The food was superb. There was plenty of social distancing throughout the entire restaurant. We will definitely be returning!
Great food AND entertainment! We will definitely return.
Our chef was very quiet and messed up several times through the hibachi meal. He did not entertain to say the least and the food was quick to be prepared. Overall would give 2-3 stars.
We went during the week during the Covid pandemic and had appropriate protocols ; chef was excellent and nice show and the food was very good. Would recommend to a family!
Our server forgot it was my daughter birthday, they seated us at a table already taking orders, we were rushed and the server never checked on our section for refills. No one sang to my daughter, she was disappointed. The chef rushed cooking and didn’t season anything. Rice was burnt, veggies burnt. Not the best experience for this type of thing.
Great food, great service. Clean environment and upbeat staff.
Our chef was very entertaining and the food was excellent! Service was very good. We were impressed at how quiet it was compared to other restaurants. Would recommend giving them a try
Tokyo garden is the best hibachi place ever. My only complaint is they are skimpy on the meat portions
Great food and great staff. My son had a great birthday dinner.
I have been going to their other location for over 15 years. This location did not disappoint either. Great food and great staff!
1st time at the new location and it did not disappoint. The Tempura Calamari was amaaazzziiinnggg!!! Awesome service and food
Great food and lots of it. Loved the variety of dipping sauces and noodles.
Great food! And I loved being able to make a reservation online.
It was okay. I didn’t feel the food was as good as it could be
Terrific new environment with great colors and plenty of light. We had drinks at the bar and that was a fun experience. They serve all the same food at the bar without the show. We went to the table, with our masks on, and were seated promptly with plenty of safe distancing. The chef put on a great show, refills were timely and the price was very fair. I sure hope they survive this pandemic as this is a great venue for a date night, birthday celebration or just a great meal.
Great service, good food, excellent chefs, quiet dining, and a wonderful experience. This is the place to go, if you are looking for a great restaurant.
Food was delicious and the Hibachi Chef was entertaining.
Service was painfully slow. Entrees were not cooked to requested temp. Salmon was totally dry. Chef was entertaining though. Maybe just a off night
The food was really good! Our chef was very entertaining and we had a good time.
The first thing we noticed was the lighting. Typical hibachi grills are dark. The environment was very clean and well lit. The staff was amazing and the chef was very funny. The food was out of this world yummy. This was our first time and we will definitely be back!
The food was delicious, excellent service and great menu choices.
First time was about 4 days ago, already ate there again and wanting to go back ASAP. It’s amazing!
W we went during lunch. Lots of food. Our chef was wonderful. Will go back!
The food is simply amazing and at a good price point!
Our waitress was good, but our chef was awful. Yes it was a Sunday afternoon, but they were not busy at all. He didn’t interact with us. All he did was cook our food. No tricks or anything. I like the cleanliness of the South location, but the midtown location is by far better.
The chef was personable and talented. The steak was tough, but we enjoyed the Alaskan Roll and the scallops, lobster and shrimp very much!
The portion size seems to decrease from usually times. The food was okay, fried rice was not cooked all the way, chicken was burned, and then the steak was not cooked the way asked.
This newer location is beautiful!!
The food was great and the service as well. A less expensive option than some of the hibachi style restaurants but they do not skimp on the quality. Will definitely visit again!
Always a good experience
The filet mignon was the most tender I’ve ever had and the shrimp was great. We really enjoyed watching the man cook our hibachi dinner. Plenty of food!
They said on their Facebook page and on a big sign near the door, they were social distancing, wearing masks and gloves. They were not doing any of it! Don’t market that you’re doing that when you aren’t. It’s called false advertising!
Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. As of June 1 we entered Phase 3 of Oklahoma’s Open Up and Recover Safely (OURS) Plan. According to the plan, we no longer require our employees to wear face masks and gloves. We have removed the sign up front so as not to confuse anyone. We are continuing to leaving 2 empty seats between parties, and take extra precautions such as sanitizing menus between guests.
Service was great. Food was great. Environment was good.
Great experience. Enjoyed by both the children and adults in our group. Seated at our reserved time.
The service was less than desirable. My wife ordered steamed rice with her meal. After the other people (not with us) at the table got theirs I flagged the server down to ask for my wife's rice, she looked puzzled and disappeared. Came back to the table to.information her that they were out of steamed rice. How do you not have steamed rice.if you are a true teppanyaki restaurant? First time to find there and the last time. Service was horrible, had to ask for everything. Osaka will continue to get our business.
