   Just a perfect day. So well cared for, great people with lovely food and atmosphere. Autumn brings out the beautiful colours of the surrounds of the place and I imagine spring would be stunning there. Great service, everything from the butter and the chips to their amazing frangipani tart was perfect. The cupcake for my wife's birthday was a sweet touch too. Highly recommend

   We had the Chicken & Lamb Shoulder mains. Both were tender and delicious. The Tokar Pinot Noir was excellent and so was the service. We'll definitely be taking our friends here.

   Everything was amazing, food excellent, service out of this world. The feeling is almost intimate and the service reflects that. Attention is great but not overbearing and the quality of food shows real care in ingredients & preparation. We'll be back again.

   Excellent ambient very elegant. All staff were nice and politer and always smiling. My waiter was awesome Indiana showed a lot maturity,polite and always helpful and always vibrant and smiling and helping her work colleagues aswell. Will definite come back the food was delicious and the wine was top notch

   Great food. Entrees were amazing. However it was rainy outside and there was a birthday party happening, and it got pretty loud. Other than that, overall really good. Would be back

    Food was fabulous. We had the 2 course option, scallops and trout for entree and sirloin and gnocchi for mains. All food was exceptional and good portion sizes. Service was friendly and honest. Overall great experience and we will be back.

    We recently ate at Tokar Estate, telling staff we needed one gluten free meal. Instantly the staff knew what was needed reassuring me I would be catered to. I loved the home made gluten free bread! We had a lovely visit and will be back

    A lovely afternoon with some sunshine, overlooking the vineyards at Tokar Estate. Excellent service and knowledge of the menu as well as the wines. Some unusual mixes of flavours and textures in our entrees and mains, which was exciting, making the meal most enjoyable.

    Location, venue and staff are terrific. For our lunch my wife had the fish which she said was extremely good. I had the lamb backstraps which I found to be rather gristly and tough. Oh, and the wine was very good. We will be going back sometime.

    A very noisy restaurant with chairs scraping on the tiled floor, very difficult for 1 of our party with a cochlear implant and myself with major concussion and difficulty with sharp sudden loud noises. I’d not recommend this restaurant to anyone with a hearing deficit when you have to sit indoors as the weather was very cold yesterday. Food great however, but sides not included in the fixed price menus…

The restaurant is a small, boutique venue, which does rather busy on weekends and consequently can become noisy at times. We recommend visiting us midweek, where the pace of the Yarra Valley is much slower, and allows for long, cozy lunches with a quiet atmosphere. Our midweek lunch also represents fantastic value at $65pp for two courses, with a glass of wine also included! Hope to see you again soon!

    Absolutely superb as usual, sensational food for a special Easter Sunday lunch, just felt so homely & relaxing despite the cool weather. We’re biased but this is truly one of those hidden gems to visit.

    I found the food rather bland with little taste. The calamari was mixed wit fennel and the wasn't much calamari . The lamb was very small and tough.

    Food very good. Small but effective menu. Lovely view from the verandah. Pleasant service and the included glass of wine was a bonus. Been here several times pre-covid. Open fewer days per week than in the past and not as crowded now.

    The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were a delight, kind, friendly and very helpful. To sit on the terrace, over looking the winery, having a lazy lunch with really good Tokar wine, reminded me of being in Tuscany. We had such a good time, we spontaneously stayed overnight of which was exceptional...words cannot describe how relaxed I feel right now...thankyou Tokar

    Outstanding view and food. The dishes designed with seasonal ingredients, nicely decorated and serving to you quickly. The wine are impressive, simply pair with their signature black label wine for fabulous enjoyment.
