Figs by Todd English - Charlestown
Figs Pizza is most likely like no other pizza you’ve ever had. Don’t be surprised by the large freeform shape—its specifically part of what will go into your overall experience in enjoying this unique meal.
The crust will be so crisp and thin it will be close to brittle. That finely crisped quality is achieved by the special technique used in making the dough and a short cooking time at a very high temperature. The toppings are the finest freshest available and are, as often as possible local produce and other ingredients.
A distinctive quality of a Figs Pizza is that it will cool down quickly. If you take a pizza with you please follow the directions provided by the restaurant when heating it again at home.

Staff is terrific
Such a delicious meal, best Italian I’ve had outside the north end in Boston. The pizza is a very good size, fun that you can get 2 types! Overall good service and great food! Can’t wait to come again.
I come here all the time and it’s usually great. The Bolognese was a huge disappointment. It’s normally a really beautiful thick sauce but this time they poured way too much cream over top and it was so soupy. The pasta was over cooked too. Service and sangria was great as always
We were at Figs the previous week and we booked the restaurant for our last night in Boston, because was so delicious. When we arrived at the restaurant it was for delivery and take out only. We were so disappointed we were really looking forward to dinner. Next time we are in Boston, we will be there.
Excellent experience. Food and service great. Twice I requested spaghetti with my chicken parm instead of rigatoni but got rigatoni. Everything was great until I went inside (we dined outside) to use restroom and it was a chaotic mess. I didn't see any management or help for the employees who were so flustered. They did a great job keeping it together table-side but deserve better working conditions. I worked in good and bad restaurants for too many years and recognize the environment all too well. Be kind to the employees there!
Always relatable and consistently good food.
We ordered Calamari: EXCELLENT! Also Bolognese is excellent. Service is friendly.
This is the most accommodating, friendly place. The food is UNBELIEVABLE!! We had the most delicious Old School Bolognese … the best ever! Grateful we got to dine here.
Service wasn’t good. Hostess was rushed, borderline rude and angry. No other way to put it. I wouldn’t go back here.
I have nothing bad to say about my experience at Figs! The portion sizes were large and the food tasted amazing! Will definitely be returning.
Great pizza - the right and prosciutto was a must try! Service was a bit slow outside but the food made up for it. We also tried the warm spinach and bacon salad which was a great accompaniment. Overall, great, large and tasty pizza!
Tasty but a little bit slow in the service for a Pizza joint
Consistently great! Red Sox pizza always hits it out of the park.
The fig pizza didnt hace figs , didnt like it that much
The overall experience was fair. From the very small unsturdy table set on the side walk to the service it was not the figs I am used to. We were disappointed in the service and the small size pours of wine. Overall the price was not worth it and we will not be going back any time soon.
This is by far one of the best Pizza restaurants in Boston and is the best Boston pizza sitdown pizza place. The pizza was rich and great. the chicken parm sliders were solid. Overall great vibes and everything
Excellent food, yet really is a take out place vs inside dining.
Neighborhood gem. Great pizza and food in general.
Nice but poorly trained service member, inattentive even though it was mostly empty.
We go weekly one of our favorite pizza
Outstanding pizza. Our favorite was the pepperoni. We also loved the chicken Parmesan sliders! Super cute location.
Great neighborhood gem. Food is delicious. Unique pizzas with diverse ingredients combined. Due to their delicious pizzas and food, they support a very busy take out business. Door is constantly being opened and delivery service people are in and out picking up orders. A little distracting.
Great food. Best bread I have ever tasted. Would definitely go back.
Ordered a Oliver's pizza (extra cheese / 1/2 pep) and a salmon entree. Food was excellent and its always good to support local ctown restaurants.
We booked online for outdoor seating. We arrived to find nothing set up outside. Kind of a surprise given COVID. We asked for the warmers to be lit outside and it took 20 minutes and the waiter was very frustrated with our request. We are trying to give them our business during COVID during this window when we can dine outdoors and they were completely oblivious. We heard other customers express the same concerns. Then our food was terrible. The Carbonara was basically limp pasta in a bowl of oil. The bolognese was topped with raw garlic. Both pasta dishes were inedible. The pepperoni pizza was great!!! They gave us free desserts and took the pasta off the bill. Unfortunately, even though we used to be loyal to Figs, we can't find our way back for a long while - at least to give them time to fix this.
Place lacked sense of arrival, poor service no upsell Restaurant was dirty no Pride in apperance , no management present
Great food and location!
Overall we were pleased.
Given the difficult times restaurants are going through with Covid restrictions we were happy to see that this favorite of ours is doing an incredible job with their take-out business. If we were residents of the area we would be regulars for takeout and probably for eating it as well. Service Wes excellent.., food tasty and well prepared and very generous servings.
It seemed dirty to me. Soda was flat. Waitress was ok, but for the only table there could have been more attentive. I hadn’t been since going to Charles Street so I was disappointed.
Delicious food! Great service!
Figs was a very nice restaurant. The food was good, and I would return.
The setting is warm and welcoming during these Covid times. Figs practices social distancing and cleanliness. The Asparagus appetizer was delicious and the chocolate cake was extraordinary.
Had dinner with my friends and everything was perfect. Since we enter the restaurant we were greeted by a nice young lady that accommodate us. the food was delicious and the service was very attentive, we hope to be back soon. Thank you for a beautiful evening.
Figs is a real Charlestown gem! When I realized there was a Todd English in Boston I had to check it out as I absolutely LOVE the Todd English Plaza Hotel Food Hall in NYC. So I went in with high expectations and we got exactly what we were looking for. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter named Andre who kept us laughing during our entire meal. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara which was incredible! The pasta was al dente and the pancetta was thick and cooked perfectly, also the peas were a nice touch I havent had before. They have a big brick pizza oven and cook the pizzas fresh right in the dining room and you can watch. Such a great place my family loved it! Also its only a block away from the famous Bunker Hill Monument and the Freedom Trail so it was a great lunch stop for us all while we followed the trail. Highly recommend! Will be back to try more!
I really liked this place. I passed it many times in the past on the way to Bunker Hill and I'm glad I finally got a chance to eat there. I particularly liked the tomato and spinach soup. The pizza was very good. I have had mushroom and eggplant pizza. The service was very friendly. It's a nice, unpretentious neighborhood place with excellent food.
Service is meh but food is phenomenal
Town is so adorable as well and not far from main Boston
We’re actually got to eat there had a reservation at 7:30 was seated at eight by the time the person came over to give us water and bread it was 820 and we had ordered from a place down the street and went and picked it up instead and left the restaurant without eating. In their defense it seemed like they had a lot of takeout and not enough servers that night maybe another time
Pizza was so-so. The signature fig pizza has way too much fig on it - it would have been much better with maybe 5-20% of that. It left a clawing feeling in your mouth. Also would have been better to have the figs sliced vs mushed into a paste. The other pizzas (mushroom and Red Sox) we tried were better but still nothing special. Given the great reviews I was hoping for some great pizza. I would take Regina’s over this place any day. The one good thing is that they had outdoor dining, which is a must.
great food and value. the pizzas were very large and super filling.
Sadly put in the back room. It was quiet and very cold.
