Figs by Todd English - Charlestown
Figs Pizza is most likely like no other pizza you’ve ever had. Don’t be surprised by the large freeform shape—its specifically part of what will go into your overall experience in enjoying this unique meal.
The crust will be so crisp and thin it will be close to brittle. That finely crisped quality is achieved by the special technique used in making the dough and a short cooking time at a very high temperature. The toppings are the finest freshest available and are, as often as possible local produce and other ingredients.
A distinctive quality of a Figs Pizza is that it will cool down quickly. If you take a pizza with you please follow the directions provided by the restaurant when heating it again at home.

Service was terrible. We sat at the bar (which is about 6 seats)and several large parties came in after us, ate, paid, and left before we received our food. It was pizza, which take about 5 minutes in their oven. Ours took 50 minutes. Fig and gorgonzola pizza was terrible - avoid this.
Delicious! Pizza as good as any in the North End! Cookies and Milk yummy! Servers friendly and helpful! A bit pricey but overall loved our dinner!
It is great for children and adults. Local and great food. Great Service!
Delicious pizza, salad, calimari! Many additional menu items available as well. We were very well and attentively taken care of throughout our meal. Thanks!
Sat for 15 minutes before the server came to the table to put in a drink order, all the while watching employees play on their telephones while one man did all of the work on the pizza oven. Dominos offers are far better dining experience.
Saturday night is no night to train new staff
Waiter made the experience! Great food
Very friendly service with great tasting food. Perfect little night out with some good old fashioned Italian home cooking.
Best place in Charlestown. Blows Regina out of the water on the pizza debate too.
Very nice dinner! We got the cute window seat.
Great gourmet thin crust pizza and salads. Excellent service. Will definitely be going back.
Excellent service from Angela. Pizza was perfect
Figs is one of my favorite if not favorite restaurant in Charlestown. It is ALWAYS amazing!
Always the best
A Neighborhood gem!
Overall you can never go wrong here. Neighborhood location and food is always good.
I love everything!
Everything seemed to be a notch or two below what you would expect from Todd English. Broken booths. Kitchen supplies left out in the open. Slow and sparse waitstaff. If it didn't have his name and was just a random pizza place everything might seem a notch better. Maybe.
We waited for our pizza order for 40 minutes and then came out with a different pizza that we ordered
It was a kitchen error not waiter. No apology. In need of better management.
Our server was very nice. We were greeted and sat at our table immediately. My main problem was that the fire Marshall showed up at the restaurant and as we were sitting right by the kitchen, heard a lot of yelling and arguing between the fire Marshall and restaurant staff. apparently something in the kitchen was not up to code.
So for the price of the food, that ruined my experience there.
One of my favorite places in Boston. I no longer live in Boston but every time I am in town I make my way to Figs in Charlestown for some of my favorite pizza!
The food was outstanding—as expected have eaten at each of the Figs locations several times. Our server was the best!
I've been going to Fig's (previously the original Olive's)d for almost thirty years. Was shocked that my reservation for last Saturday night made through Open Table was cancelled by Fig's the same day as the reservation due to a Private Party. They had to have known about the private party when I made my reservation a few days before my reservation. I will definitely re-think going back.
food was excellent as always - but service was fair and felt rushed out the door with still a half hour before closing... weird and somewhat unsettling.
One and done!
Didn’t honor reservation time. Great service . Awesome pizza. Outlandishly expensive.
Tomas was an excellent waiter! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable :)
Nice place. Great food!
Food was great as always. Was very busy (tribute to the food). Lots of people coming in and out picking up takeout orders. Servers were friendly but unfortunately were quite rushed.
These are LARGE and delicious pizzas! Side beet salad was great too. Our waiter was excellent
The food was wonderful as always the waiter was extremely efficient and friendly Food came out quick Table was ready
The food that made it to the table was great. The server forgot to enter half the order so 2 of the 4 people in our party did not get their dinner. When the server was made aware of his error his behavior was unacceptable and he brought us the check as if to rush us out the door. Very sad experience considering where we were. We will not be back!
The food was fresh and well prepared. The waiter was clueless and inattentive. We had to chase after him to pay for dinner. On the hottest day of the year there was only a large fan, no AC.
I am never disappointed with Figs in Charlestown. The food is excellent; my favorites are the burger, the salmon, the pizza and probably whatever else I haven't selected off the menu. The staff is the BEST. Always easily seated with or without reservations, quick to bring drinks, apps, food and eager to make us happy. Another reason we go is that of the noise level. There are so many places in the city where we have to shout over really loud, awful background music. (I feel like my 17-year-old nephew is picking all the soundtracks in Boston). Last Saturday was perfect with Stevie Wonder and Motown softly in the background. The ambiance
was wonderful. All ages and a lively atmosphere with a real neighborhood feel.
Food was delicious, service outstanding and such a cozy and quaint place.
We were in Boston for the Eagles concert (they were great) and we had dined at Todd English’s Tuscany at Mohegan Sun previously and thought we would try Fig’s. There were four of us and we went in for a 5:30 dinner so we were seated promptly. The restaurant is “intimate” (small) but service was great and the food starting with the warm bread, Meatball and Parmesan chicken sliders to follow as appetizers and a pulled chicken and caramelized onion pizza as an entree was outstanding. The pizza was so large we took some to go. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Our party of four would highly recommend Fig’s.
Great service, great food, always a good choice in the Charlestown neighborhood
Well, I had high hopes...after all Todd English, right? Tables with chips, bench seats coming off wall, bathroom really bad. You have to walk by the “kitchen “ and all I could think was someone needs to call in a tip to Kitchen Nightmares crew. Caesar salad bad, pancetta spinach salad lacking an acid. Short rib papradelle - sauce tasted like canned tomatoes not cooked down. Pizza - meh.
