Figs Pizza is most likely like no other pizza you’ve ever had. Don’t be surprised by the large freeform shape—its specifically part of what will go into your overall experience in enjoying this unique meal.

The crust will be so crisp and thin it will be close to brittle. That finely crisped quality is achieved by the special technique used in making the dough and a short cooking time at a very high temperature. The toppings are the finest freshest available and are, as often as possible local produce and other ingredients.

A distinctive quality of a Figs Pizza is that it will cool down quickly. If you take a pizza with you please follow the directions provided by the restaurant when heating it again at home.

The heat was broken and it was freezing, This not the old figs. This has nothing to do with Todd English and I'm surprised his name is on it. If you want pizza try it as take out. the server was very nice and attentive.

I asked for a cabernet, yet only had 2 red wines at the bar. my husband asked for a beer that was on the menu, yet had to select one that they had at the bar. there was no bacon on the charred broccoli appetizer which was not even charred. my dinner salad came out 15 minutes before my husbands pizza. the only upside was that the pizza was delicious. the whole meal was a disaster.

Everything was amazing ! We had calamari as appetizer and then 2 pizzas for sharing. Pizzas are big and so good. We were 5 and we took some of it home. I recommend the one with figs and prosciutto. The server and all staff in the restaurant were very nice and helpful. We will come back for sure .

Todd English should take his name off this place. Sad, used to be good. Restaurant is dingy, service is apathetic, and when we tried to order a glass of wine the server indicated that they were out of all white wines but 1.

There was no organization when we arrived, a larger number of people were queuing up but there wasn’t any staff member at the door. We told the server we had a reservation and that we wanted to sit outside if that was possible. Eventually we were able to order some food and drinks, but needed to remind the server twice of our drinks order. The food arrived - the pizzas were ok but the pasta was very poor and in a watery sauce. After using the restroom you could see the poor cleaning quality of the restrooms and the kitchen area. Very rude

They were out of several ingredients, coincidentally two of the items we ordered. As well, there was one person working there. Service was extremely slow, not the server’s fault. The food was not hot. Very disappointing.

I have always loved figs pizza. Sadly, this location, at least, is a victim of the pandemic. One waiter and one cook could not possibly keep up with the customers and delivery orders. Our pizza took forever (people who came in well after us got their food first) and then was undercooked. Outdoor Tables were dirty and left that way.

Figs is a great spot for sit down pizza. I have been to Figs Beacon Hill and Figs Charlestown and I will say I enjoyed the Charlestown location much more than the Beacon Hill location. It is very quiet and the restaurant is very spacious compared to Beacon Hills location. Great thing about the pizzas Is that you can do half and half. We chose the Red Sox and the Bianco! They have a tiny bar inside which is adorable and a very friendly staff!

Great spot for casual lunch or dinner in Boston’s Beacon Hill section. Nothing fancy. Just really good pizza, salad, etc at a reasonable price. Inside seating is tight. Outdoors is limited but fun people watching. Well worth a try.

I used to live in Charlestown and ate at figs quite frequently. I went back after years away and was immediately disappointed. There was barely anyone in there and it took the server a while to seat us. He sat us next to a pile of dishes which was odd since there were other seating options. I had to ask for a new wine glass and plate because they were not properly washed and had dried food on them. The new ones weren’t much better. They kept fooling with the lights and it ended up becoming quite dark. It felt and looked unclean. The pizza was good but we skipped dessert and left soon after.

We were in early at 5pm, only people in restaurant and service was super slow. They were cranking out pizzas for to go but ours took forever. Also got the fig and prosciutto pizza. The prosciutto was put on the pizza uncooked after the pizza came out of the oven which was very odd. Restaurant seemed dirty and we saw many flies dying around the bar taps. Very disappointed as we usually love figs.

I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti was great but I literally could not cut the meatballs. They were as hard as rocks. I managed to chip a piece off and tasted it. It was crunchy and terrible. Idk what happened - maybe they sat in an oven and cooked in a pan for forever?? The server, after I’m told him, fixed me a whole new dish. The meatballs were better but still burnt on one side. I’ve been to this place many times because I live nearby and love the food and the vibe. I was shocked about the food and am thinking that Todd maybe needs to swing by for a QC check?

Gnocchi was too creamy to stomach. Some gnocchi were burned and I had to sort through a large bowl of red and cream sauce to even find the pasta. Bread pudding was obviously baked days earlier- crusty and so dry I could hardy choke it down. Even the $10 glass of wine was tiny- maybe 3 ounces. Not a good experience for a restaurant I used to love.

Place seems like it’s gone downhill. No thought or care put into the dishes. Sangria was just a mug of juice not even a lime or lemon or any fruit; spinach salad with warm bacon dressing was a giant pile of spinach leaves with a few cubes of pancetta in it. Thought it was strange that the prosciutto and fig pizza had multiple slices of cold prosciutto placed on top of it after it came out of the oven. Tv on the wall was broken, and instead of turning it off or putting on music they just left it on a screen that said “network connection broken.” Air temperature was cold. Waitress was kind and tried hard but didn’t really understand English.

I walked in at 5 pm for a reservation. It took 15 minutes for one of the staff members to seat me despite being the ONLY patron in the restaurant. A non English speaking employee tried to get the attention of the individual in charge and I overheard him say ‘I’m not the server bro.’ That individual then proceeded to have a phone conversation with someone I presume to be in management talking about sick calls in the Beacon Hill and Charlestown locations clearly stating ‘don’t worry about Charlestown l, I got this.’ I heard it loud and clear because I was still standing near the bar waiting to get seated. After finally being acknowledged and seated by that individual, he proceeded to leave and did not offer water or a beverage, normally something I would not be bothered by, but in light of the circumstances leading up to finally being seated, it was evident that this individual couldn’t care less about my patronage. I’ve never written a review of a restaurant before but I was so displeased with this experience I wanted to vent. Stay classy Figs, glad to know my support during a pandemic is not appreciated.

Such a delicious meal, best Italian I’ve had outside the north end in Boston. The pizza is a very good size, fun that you can get 2 types! Overall good service and great food! Can’t wait to come again.

I come here all the time and it’s usually great. The Bolognese was a huge disappointment. It’s normally a really beautiful thick sauce but this time they poured way too much cream over top and it was so soupy. The pasta was over cooked too. Service and sangria was great as always

We were at Figs the previous week and we booked the restaurant for our last night in Boston, because was so delicious. When we arrived at the restaurant it was for delivery and take out only. We were so disappointed we were really looking forward to dinner. Next time we are in Boston, we will be there.

Excellent experience. Food and service great. Twice I requested spaghetti with my chicken parm instead of rigatoni but got rigatoni. Everything was great until I went inside (we dined outside) to use restroom and it was a chaotic mess. I didn't see any management or help for the employees who were so flustered. They did a great job keeping it together table-side but deserve better working conditions. I worked in good and bad restaurants for too many years and recognize the environment all too well. Be kind to the employees there!

This is the most accommodating, friendly place. The food is UNBELIEVABLE!! We had the most delicious Old School Bolognese … the best ever! Grateful we got to dine here.
