the meat was good but the rest of the fare was looking tired and congealed and was only lukewarm at best.

The Carvery was still really good bearing in mind the place was packed due to 40% off a main course. People were on a waiting list. Glad I booked a table!

Always nice to visit this Toby,very friendly and efficient staff,food very nice with a good variety of freshly cooked veg. Meats are very well cooked and tasty with good portions on plate,Chefs are courteous and cheerful....all in all our favourite Toby

This Toby is always consistent with its food quality and service from Staff,the meats are top notch and always a great selection of veg. Drinks are excellent and the kids love the refillable glasses where they can choose which drink and of course the ice is a bonus. Our favourite Toby,even the Chefs have a bit craic on.

We were staying at the Holiday Inn close by, and had 3 meals at Toby because you know what to expect. Also if I order through the IHG app I get bonus reward points through the hotel chain. Add the fact that I get reductions through the Toby app or AA app - the value for money is guaranteed. (except Sundays!!)

We were warmly greeted by a number of staff as they were passing whilst we were waiting to be seated. We opted for the usual carvery menu. The turkey was moist and tender. The vegetables were plentiful and hot. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great value for money.

Good welcome and quickly seated and drinks served. The Carvery food was fresh and tasty, but could have been a little hotter especially the gravy. Vegetable choice was also a little limited and dauphanise pots very sparse. We also ordered the 3 special starters which were plentiful especially the bread option, but they had run out of lettuce for the prawn cocktail. Very pleased with the service we received, and the overall value. "You know what to expect at a Toby, and this one was up to standard"
