I always have a pleasant meal here with good service, but on this occasion they didn't have my booking on their system which I booked through Open Table. Luckily there were tables available otherwise it would have been a problem.

Serve yourself carvery. Meat was delicious and vegetables were perfect, not overlooked. Family friendly, quick service. We only had a main course so we were in and out in 45 minutes. ( pre movie meal). Good value for a quick evening meal which I didn't have to cook or do the washing up!

New French chef on carvery. Very approachable and interested in customers. Several new staff - nice efficient and friendly service. As always, Carvery is excellent value for money

Toby carvaries in the area have gone really done hill, completely over run and poor quality. So the stafferton lodge was a really pleasant surprise. The staff were really friendly, no queuing as bookings were well managed. Food area was tidy, and the roast was delicious. Excellent value for money
