   As a family we have been going to the Toby for many years but in the past it has been hit and miss with service and food and whether we could get a table at all.... now you can book this has solved the "let's take a chance" on getting a table. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I think because it was better planned they were able to give better service. Now the negative, the staff need to check when taking drinks order if the dinners are having carvery or not..... if not they could be waiting ages as we were not asked.... over the years the cauliflower has always been so hard it's not nice to eat this has not changed, maybe a rethink on an alternative or even a medley bake..... and finally and only on a very personal comment .... pork ...yum pork, I love to see pork fat and on my visit my poor piggy must have been to weight watchers as not an ounce of juicy fat could be seen... now I know it's not PC to have the fat but it so adds to the flavour and if you offer crackling then why not leave the fat on the joint.... at least the option is there.... I hope this is taken as written it will not stop my family dinning with you..... Jan

   Lovely place with lovely staff. The food is outstanding and we always leave with a very full tummy. Booking a table is a great idea as it gets so busy.
