   Very few customers in. Starter (prawn cocktail) just lettuce & prawns, sauce was yuk, no cucumber or tomato! Carvery all virtually cold. This restaurant has just had a complete refurbishment and was just re-opened the evening prior. What's happened?

   As you would expect from a buffet restaurant. Food was nice but nothing amazing. Shame they had run out of pork and meat gravy.

   We often use the Toby carvery because its easy to book,shown table and drink served within minutes of arriving,good tasty selection of carvery food,good waitress/waiter service,pleasant surroundings and finally good value for money.

   Overall a really nice friendly place, only bad point was we sat waiting 20mins for our drinks order to be taken (told by greeter someone would be round straightaway) , other than that it's a really nice friendly pub and the food is as good as you expect at a Toby carvery. We will certainly be visiting again.
