We were not welcomed on our arrival and it was a long time before we were shown our table although we had pre-booked it. Also it was a long time before we were served.

I love going to the Toby carvery at Eden Park I booked a table for Tuesday 29th may when I arrived the place had been closed since Saturday due to a fire was abit disappointed that I had booked and nobody had checked the booking list to email me to cancel. So I shall book again.

arrived on sat 26.5.18 at 7p.m to find the place closed , we had a booking for this time. A e-mail prior to going down there would have saved us the trip...disappoited

Avery mixed evening which our waitress did her best to salvage.First you lost our booking ,we were told to wait for ten minutes which turned into eternity, at least an hour. It was a birthday and they were not prepared.Food was very mixed,starters very greasy,main course cauliflower cheese inedible,we returned it.But our waitress did her best and we thanked her.

We visit Eden Park about once a month. The meter greeter is always friendly and the food is great value. However we do get irritated by the Carvery chefs who give the impression that they really don’t want to be there and dive back into the kitchen at every opportunity therefore having no idea if people are waiting to be served.
