   Lovely meal and pud, waitress was friendly and chatty, we were'nt rushed at all, even though it was quite busy.

   EXCELLENT MEAL AS USUAL, BUT SORRY THERE WERE NO ROASTED PARSNIPS WITH THE CARVERY! WHAT WONDERFUL VALUE! AND A WAITRESS WHO WAS PATIENT WITH SENIOR CITIZENS!

   Open Table Booking I booked a table online for Downlands Worthing, but when we got there the guy couldn't find my booking for 7pm. We then had a wait whilst he tried to find it. This had been confirmed on my laptop at home before we left for Downlands. We were then allowed through but I suspect because a queue forming behind us, rather than him finding our booking. Otherwise, meal good and service. Joan Marlowe

   Great tasting food but the service could be a little better however you cant complain at that price!

   Cutlery was not clean Food was very poorly cooked No coffee. Eventually was replaced after several people complained

   Downlands was busy. Long ques for carvery so difficult to navigate back to my seat as people blocking way. Service delayed as we had to wait for clean plates and seemed as of no member of staff had responsibility for this. Food was good as always once you got it. Arrived at 6.45. Sat down to eat at 7.45.

   Very good value and plentiful. They can be a bit tight with the meat sometimes and on this visit a lot of the food had run out and not been replaced but it was rectified after a few minutes. Can't really complain for the price paid it is a good deal.

   Great value for money! Service was a bit slow but it does get very busy. Advisable to book. Can't complain due to the incredible value for good hearty food.

    On the whole the food was as you would expect , on arrival we were informed no turkey or beef this was 1pm , as we were leaving around 2.30 turkey and beef put out ..
