   Was extremely disappointed, very much doubt I’ll go back. Chip glasses, black bits floating in milk,potato’s black,dirty with food on floor,which I nearly slipped on getting my dinner, no knife and folk could go on but can’t be bothered 😕

   Once again I had a really excellent evening with friends at the Toby Carvery in Chelmsford. Having booked a table when we arrived we were immediately taken to our table and served drinks within seconds of being seated. The staff here are extremely diligent and work tirelessly to ensure that your every need is met. They are to be commended for the high level of service that have become a trade mark of this particular eatery. It goes without saying that the food was fantastic and there was plenty of it! It is absolutely fantastic value for money and as a retired person I honestly believe it would be cheaper for me to eat there every day rather than paying out for meals from the supermarkets. Congratulations to everyone involved.

   Good wholesome food.A little mean on the portions of meat but plenty of vegetables to fill the gap.Nice pint of beer.Pleasant service .

   Went for a family birthday, easy to book, the table was ready for us when we arrived even though it was incredibly busy, the food was brilliant, the staff were very efficient and friendly and the cost was excellent... will definitely use more regularly.
