   Lovely staff and good service. Food was basic however very good value.

   No problem with the food, the lady who took my order new nothing of open table she spoke to the manager who didn’t know anything either

   I have visited a number of times before with the same two friends. Although the carvery was good, the service was dreadful. The restaurant wasn’t full but there seemed to be very few staff available to ask for help. Consequently we went elsewhere for our dessert. Do hope this was a one off.

   Friendly staff. Good choice of veg, lovely roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud, meat always good. Eat as much or as little as you please.

   Received excellent service from our waitress India, she was a ray of sunshine, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her

   Went for morning breakfast. Had a hot chocolate which could have been a bit sweeter. Food was nice with plenty to eat. Room was not full so no waiting for a seat. Enjoyed it with no rush.
