First time for my nephew birthday

Exceptional food and equally exceptional service!

Love this restaurant! Quality, fresh fish with a great ambiance. My go to when I don’t want to go in town for quality sushi.

One of the best dining experiences my husband and I have ever had! We could not stop talking about how amazing the food was and how great the service was. I would venture outside of just sushi - we had the sake ginger, hot stone saggy beef, and king crab mac and cheese in addition to some rolls, everything was delicious and perfect. The blonde dessert was insanely good. We can’t wait to go back!

this place was AMAZING! Russell was a fantastic waiter and really helped us thru the menu. it was our first time here and he nailed the recommendations- food was fantastic! the brussels, bruschetta roll & hamachi kosho are a must!

This was our first time here since we just moved to Katy from The Heights and it was a great experience! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! Our waiter Kevin was phenomenal! Great sushi in Katy! Would recommend!

Overall, an excellent experience:
> Diverse menu with unique entrees and flavor combinations to fit the right size of food
and level of appetite.
> The seafood sushi and sashimi cuts were very fresh
> Prices were reasonable
> the background/ambiance music level could be lower for a more pleasant conversation

Overly loud for dinner, food took forever and waited 40 minutes for sashimi after everything else was eaten and done (ordered at the same time). Then dessert took another 20 minutes after we managed to wave someone down. Usually a big fan of this place so not sure whats up, dinner service was subpar and the food while generally good loses its appeal when everything else is lacking.

Everything was delicious! Andy, the server was awesome. Can’t wait to go back to try other items on the menu.

Never lets us down as a family!

My wife and I went for her birthday, and we were immensely satisfied with our entire experience. The seating process was quick and efficient and spacing was properly done so that tables were not too close to each other. The wait staff was courteous and knowledgeable about the menu as we had the 8 course tasting with wine paring. The food was superb in quality and taste. We will definitely be back to try the omakase soon! TY for the solid experience.

Since Tobiuo has opened we have enjoyed coming for special occasions. This time it was my sister-in-laws birthday. She is a big fan of sushi but her first visit here. She and her husband were very impressed with the variety and distinct flavor of each disk. The service was wonderful and they placed flowers on our table for the birthday and presented a nice dessert after. Best sushi place around.

Perfect for date night and our server gave some great recommendations! The Electric Eel roll and the Diced Shrimp Tempura were definitely my favorites! Can’t wait to go back!!

This is really not a sushi bar to be missed. In addition to standard faire is always an alternate menu of specialties which are not to be missed. It is rare to have such a robust and versatile menu as is Tobiuo but it is executed with flair and amazing capability.

We always enjoy our dining experience at Tobuio. Our waiter Andy always provides excellent service. Selections are fresh and deliciously prepared. We love Tobuio and would highly recommend!

Excellent attentive service and impressive, fresh, quality food

The fish was amazing quality and the pink matcha cake was one of the best things I’ve eaten. It’s worth a. Drive if you don’t live in Katy. Z, our waiter was really food too and suggested good dishes. Highly recommend

Amazing service and delicious food. Will definitely visit again

I am eat here weekly and it is a gem hidden in Katy, Texas. I have been driving into H-town to hit one of the popular Sushi Restaurants for years. Well not anymore as we have Tobiuo Sushi & Bar!!! High quality sushi and creativity that you would find in Vegas, LA, NYC, Miami, or Houston right here in my back yard. The staff has high level experience to guide a true sushi eater or even a novice. Wine and drink menu is solid. This is a must try and don't forget to ask for "Z" he will walk you through all you need to know.
