Couldn’t enjoy my meal or drink because of the amount of flies. It’s was ridiculous! I spent more time trying to get the flies off of my food than actually eating and drinking.

The first picture on open table for toba is the the pool. You can book a poolside table on OpenTable. When you get there they tell you that the pool is only for guests and you can not enter the pool. The table is also not poolside it’s above the pool. We asked directly and they said “well it’s more like “pool view.” This feels like a bait and switch.

Food and drink are delicious especially Avocado toast. Staffs are extremely friendly and polite. Recommend to reserve your spot at 8 am to have a whole view yourself for photos.

Beautiful place! Truly breathtaking! The waiters were really nice but seemed busy and somewhat inattentive. Thankfully they made up for it by treating us to a yogurt fruit bowl to share. When we arrived, the breakfast menu was limited since they ran out of pancakes and croque madame and they weren't serving lunch yet. The avocado toast was pretty good but nothing too memorable, the frittata was dry, but the yogurt fruit bowl was very tasty. I would absolutely recommend going just to admire the beautiful landscape and the gorgeous decor and to enjoy some drinks with the view. I'm looking forward to going again to try their lunch menu!

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food with exceptional service. My husband and I celebrated his birthday weekend here. So it was a special occasion that didn't disappoint. We really dug the music they played as well. We went on a Saturday night which was quieter than I expected but it didn't take away from the experience.

A five hour magical lunch because of the company we kept, the private location of the restaurant, the setting and ambiance created by the architect/developer, and the exceptional preparation and execution by the Toba team. This use to be my favorite restaurant, now that they changed the menu and the chef, sadly we will not be returning. The food is not good at all. Great view but not worth the value.

Los platillos son ricos pero no encontramos suficiente variedad, la sopa de fido seco fue buena, aunque la crema de coliflor no sabía a nada, no tenía sal. Cómo esperábamos los precios son elevados, pero de igual manera esperábamos algo mejor. Los precios en el menú no son claros, ya que en el menú en inglés los precios de algunos productos es distinto al del menú en español

Todo estuvo super bien, excepto que ciertos platillos no estaban calientes, en especifico los chilaquiles, y no solo fue el mio si no el de mis acompañantes. Pero eso no arruino la experiencia, estaban bien en general. El yogurth esta muy rico, lo recomiendo!!!

Unfortunately there is a new menu, and it was not tasty for us. We loved the Mezze Plate they had before. It was amazing, and we know others liked it. But we were told the original chef has left, and the new chef has a new menu and all our old favorites are gone. We very much liked their new Dried Fedos appetizer, which was in a spicy tomato sauce. Their scallop pate appetizer was nice also. But the entrees left a lot to be desired. The chicken and fish were dry with absolutely no sauce and no interesting spices. Side vegetables were nearly raw and also with no sauce or spices. Very plain and disappointing entrees. Only good thing with them was the small side of pureed sweet potatoes. One person in our party had the Lamb Shank. It was very big, on the bone...with sauce...and they liked it. But that's a gamey strong taste that is not to everyone's liking. They also don't have a wine list. Waiter said they are working on it. But they had two white wines, and we sampled both and they were very good. The view and ambiance remain spectacular, although we were pretty much alone in the restaurant on a Sunday mid-day. That was a bit of a sad feeling. We loved Toba so much on our first visit in early 2022. We will keep monitoring reviews and if the food seems to improve in the months ahead, we will give it another try.

Service was very slow and not up to par , 2 tables and took then a long time for the food. Price is very high for the food that you get and wasn’t all that good for the price. Disappointing since I hear it was a great experience

Puntos buenos 1.-Fueron accesibles en movernos de mesa 2.-Personal amable transporte y restaurante 3.-Buena mixología. 4.-El sabor del pan supera el sabor de los platillos no están al mismo nivel de experiencia de sabor. Puntos malos. 1-Fueron insistentes en tomar una orden después de las bebidas preguntaron 3-4 veces después de que les comunicamos que íbamos a esperar. 2.-Escuchamos como el host discutía con el personal, les llamaba la atención en voz alta 3.-Hicimos una observación al platillo (arroz) y no se nos dio una explicación, le faltaba cocción.
