   Ordered meatloaf with red rice and asparagus. Up charge for asparagus, 5 little pieces for an extra charge? Red rice was inedible. Wife had a burger since she’s on a Keto diet. Let’s just say the menu isn’t very welcoming for that diet. The coleslaw had overpowering mayo taste. Tried to switch it to collard greens and that was upcharge too. Tried desert, $6 for half a slice of Oreo cheesecake. Ugh. Overall prices were way too high and food didn’t live up to taste expectations.

   Establishment pleasantly surprised my husband and I. It had a very friendly atmosphere and very nice servers. It made for a very nice evening out to celebrate our 37th anniversary.

   Looked online to see if they were open as it was a holiday. Went there for catfish. Was disappointed as they were closing at 5pm and not serving dinner. Were not told this when we first got there at 4:45. It was not posted on the website that no dinner would be served. We were also sat at a dirty and had to get someone to clean the table. That someone was at the front register and never even looked up at us. Even when we came in we had to stand and wait for her to acknowledge us. Once the table was clean, barely wiped off with a rag, we sat for a while. When a waitress finally came to the table, she said no one told her she had customers. It was after we then tried to order catfish and was told no dinner being served and closing at 5pm. We stayed and ordered anyway, but it wasn't what we wanted so wasn't that good.

   Restaurant was cozy and inviting. I appreciated the floorplan having a selection of tables, booths, and bar seating to choose from. Shrimp and Grits were above average and reasonably priced. Coffee was delivered in a nice big mug and stayed warm throughout breakfast. Waiter was attentive.

   Made reservations for mother’s day. They were not even close to honoring time. Ended up eating outside in the heat if 90 degrees, they did provide a box fan. Food was buffet style and was out of random things multiple times. The chicken was dry. Not impressed at all. Did not have a positive impression for my Mother’s Day. Went home and make sandwiches 😟

   The food is decent the service is usually good but I had a pretty bad experience with making a reservation. I used open table, booked for 1:30 and even arrived a little early. The woman at the front checked us in and asked us to wait, gave no mention of how long. After 10 minutes I asked how long it would be as it's mother's day and my mother and I had somewhere else to be at a certain time. The woman told me it would be another 20-30 minutes, "maybe longer." When I expressed some frustration with this she simply told me not to shoot the messenger and there was nothing they could do as they had multiple large tables. I understand restaurants get busy, especially on holidays, but don't offer reservations if you are unable to handle them.

    we went on Mothers day and the brunch was terrible. I realize they were croweded but I was seated in the back and had trouble getting my walker thru the tables. We passed tables that would have been better. The bacon was almost raw and the eggs were runny. I think we should have had a choice of menu or buffet. No was did we eat $30. of food.
