TLD at Harlowe
In the South of France where he was raised, Chef Nicolas learned about the flavors of Morocco from his neighbors, and instantly fell in love with the spices of the region. His cuisine evokes nostalgia for the countryside, where he learned the importance of seasonality and the magic of simplicity. Expect fresh ingredients straight from the farmers market where Chef Nicolas is a regular, and a commitment to quality that is unmatched.
Relax and enjoy Harlowe's newly designed outdoor patio and be transported to the soothing French countryside with delectable libations and comforting fare.

We had a great evening, with fine French dining (even for my French quite demanding husband). I enjoyed the foie gras and the goat cheese tart with an interesting salad combination of beet, dates, pistachio, fresh herbs, pomegranate. Frenchie had the tuna tartar and the lamb couscous. We paired those with a Sauternes- style wine (Essensia Orange Muscat by Quadi - California) - a great recommendation by Christian, our wonderful waiter. We will be back!
SO delicious! Great ambiance. Great food. Attentive Staff!
food was divine!! we were regulars at the little next door, and now this is down the street from us!!! the absolute best
Great restaurant. The food is incredible. Loved the foie gras!!!
Great ambiene, follows covid guidelines, great dinner!
Food is delicious! Ambiance is great. Shame about traffic noise.
Food was overall pretty good, the service left a little to be desired but I understand given all that is going on servers are stretched pretty thin. We had a great meal and will definitely be back.
Nice friendly people
Will definitely go back
awesome.. great staff ---always good... trying different options but so far all is good
The place is delightfully situated in their front and side patio. If on the side (it use to be the driveway for all the limos that would drop off celebrities when it was another restaurant. Note outdoors they didn't have enough heaters when we were there, so dress warmly just in case, but a great permanent roof is installed, so no worries about rain. Note: They said from the start we had 90 minutes and then must vacate. We got there at 7:30pm and we had to chase down the check at 10:30pm So if there is a rush, we didn't experience it. The food is quite good. Staff appeared to be one waiter covering all the tables. We were a party of four, and the food was great for all of us. Quite tasty, though a tad higher than I would expect. Some of the meals averaged about $26 all the way up to $38. With an Appetizer, Main Meal, Desserts and each of us ordering two drinks each, we averaged about $100 each person. So not too bad. We definitely will go back again.
We dined at TLD for our anniversary and found it be a delight! Given the limitations of dining out these days, TLD didn't miss a beat in making our dining experience wonderful. Service was quick and on the spot. Ordering was a breeze with the option of using the QR code at the table - limiting the need to touch things. The food overall was very good - particularly the seared foie gras appetizer. Our entrees were tasty and cooked to desired temperature. The only "down" spot was the dessert. The chocolate pot de creme was a bit disappointing. There was nothing wrong with it per se, it was just "fine." Not exactly an enthusiastic endorsement. Would love to return to the TLD!
servers were great
good first date spot
Exceptional food and service. This is my favorite new place to go in WeHo. I used to love Laurel Hardware but they crowd here is a bit more welcoming and I think the food and service is even better.
Excellent .Excellent Excellent Excellent Excellent
Food was SUBERB. Prices fair for the outstanding quality. SERVICE VERY GOOD. AMBIANCE a bit "traffic challenged" wi attempted rap music drownout. Maybe hang up some tapestries ?
Food is out of this world! What a charming place. Energy was electric and brilliantly put together during these wacky times. I cannot wait to return!!! Beautiful and radiating with so much passion. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Terrible - after spending $1500, the (‘half-Italian’) manager / host became extra rude and was focused on making us leave, even though we had not stayed their 90 minute limit. Negative energy from the minute we were greeted.
TDL had created a beautiful outdoor dining experience at the Harlowe which we enjoyed for a much needed and overdue date night. The food and service were both excellent and we will be back!
Really great food, drinks, service ambience. Would def go again!
Olivier was spectacular! And the whitefish with tarragon and brussels was the best recommendation.
Good service, convenient spot on Santa Monica. Food was good but a little overpriced for the quality.
Service was excellent, food was better than expected!!
It was awesome!
Food is pretty meh but the servers are good and the ambience is nice.
Everything was mediocre at best.
Food, drinks, service and ambiance. Nothing special but nothing terrible.
Nice outdoor seating. Service was perfectly attentive. Food was delicious!
My partner and I live within walking distance to Harlowe so we enjoyed a night out with drinks and dinner. The special cocktails are delicious and it's our second time enjoying the French cuisine. We particularly love the burrata. It's a must try! Great ambience and good service. We will be back!
Our sitting at TLD was very comfortable in the front patio. The food was absolutely delicious, presented in a very elegant way, and a testimony to the great chef running the kitchen. The service was impeccable.
This is our second dinner experience there, and we are looking forward to return.
Everything was great except that our waitress should have let us know that the kitchen was about to close in case we wanted to order dessert. When we did, and I even asked if we could just take the dessert home, they initially said no which I thought it was just plain rude.
The food & service were pretty great. They are definitely trying hard during Covid to make it special. Delicious options from fish to lamb chops to a yummy mezze platter. My only issue was that the tables are crazy tiny, so it's quite awkward to order items to share.
Delicious food and great service! What more do you need?
Amazing place for an elegant dinner with friends or just your significant other, food is delicious and outstanding! Would honestly recommend to anyone!
Wow! Amazing food and service. They definitely have good covid protocol and make you feel safe. Please tip your waiters well.
We went there for drinks and appetizers, not a full dinner. Tho had a prior reservation, we got seated at the very last table behind the door for the staff. Drinks were not so great and overpriced. Appetizer was good. Tables are extremely small and can hardly fit anything, let alone a dinner plate. My knife flew off the table bcs of how crowded it was, unfortunately no one came to pick it up or offer a replacement during the entire evening. I don't think we'll be going there again.
Amazing little gem of a restaurant. Love having it in the neighborhood
We ordered two different fish dishes: white fish and sea bass. They were fishy and basically terrible. I made myself eat half of mine. We think the fish must not have been fresh. Wine pours were stingy. The peach cobbler was nothing special. The bread was good, the gazpacho was good.
Wonderful food and great outdoor space!
Experience was lovely from the moment i set up reservation to walking out and meeting the owner who gave me a quick and interesting history of the restaurant. I had the white fish at the waiters recommendation, and it was maybe the best seafood dish i have had in years! I can’t wait to go back.
What can I say? The chef outdoes himself every time we come here. Where do we begin because everything on the menu is fantastic. The most recent additions to the menu are the fresh grilled sea scallops with angel hair carbonara and they were like a little piece of heaven. The filet mignon with peppercorn sauce and a creamy potato gratin was so delicious.
We always love the crispy whitefish which is coated with a fantastic almond crust and served with basil oil drizzled over the fish which rests on a bed of potato and swirls of fine zucchini.
The hand crafted cocktails are a favorite as well the very extensive wine list. Their desserts are all delicious. If you want a lovely experience where you can forget your troubles for a while and sip a cocktail under the stars and enjoy a French dining experience unparalleled in LA definitely this is the place.
