   Our server, Brandon was amazing! Funny, personable and our food came out as we wanted. Great job! Steaks were perfectly cooked. Corn sides really tasty. Someone’s dessert awesome ! Fried foods very greasy. Coconut shrimp over done. Otherwise nice meal.

   It was okay the food wasn’t bad but they switched my boyfriend and i’s cooking temp. Meaning I asked for medium well but got medium rare and he asked for medium rare but got medium well. I was very upset by it because i like my food cooked a certain way but he enjoyed his meal. On the other hand, both of our fries were really yummy.

   The food was cold when it got to the table. The fish wasn’t cooked and we had to track down the waiter to fix it. They only took our order, dropped the food off, and never refilled drinks or checked on anything. We hate to even ask for a manager, but had to in this case. The manager was nice and understanding, but we had an never to get to and couldn’t wait for everything to be redone. It’s unlikely that we’ll try the restaurant again.

   Our family of 4 had an amazing experience at TLC. This was our first time there and we went for New Year’s Eve dinner. We sat in the dining room. Food tasted great and our server, Brandon, was phenomenal. He knew the menu like the back of his hand and helped us with any questions we had. He was tentative and had a welcoming aura. Would definitely love to come back and enjoy the patio overlooking the lake.

   The salad was the only thing good about are meal. The potatoes looked and tasted like instant gross. The steak was dry. The food quality used to be very good. Not anymore. The wine is way over price. What we paid for a glass was the same price of the whole bottle.

    Saying I'm displeased is an understatement. I want to share my story. I planned a 70th surprise birthday party for my mom. I visited the restaurant on several occasions. Before visiting the restaurant, I went online and reserved a room AND made two separate open table reservations for 10. I NEVER received a callback so I decided to travel an hour to reserve the room in person. I was greeted by a nice female manager and reserved my room with her. During my visit, I purchased 200 dollars worth of gift cards for my guest to use for food. I went AGAIN the day before the party to confirm everything was set and was told everything was ready. The nice lady even held my party decor and offered to set it up for me on the day of the party. Before leaving, I purchased an additional 200 worth of gift cards. The following day, upon arrival, I was greeted by the OWNER who was not only aggressive but rude and condescending. He basically said "I don't care what the manager did, I am the owner and what I say goes. This room has already been reserved and you can not have your party. I then told him I also went online and reserved 2 open tables for 10. He then stated " well only 10 can be in here and that's it. I was in utter shock on how I was being treated as though I am the person in the wrong. He shot down every suggestion I made to correct the restaurant's wrong. he made me feel as though he didn't want "our kind" here. I requested to speak with someone else due to his aggressive nature and the way I was being talked to. Chef Bo came over very kind,attentive and apologetic. He accommodated our guests and offered for his son to be a waiter. We waited for 2 hrs for our food. It was one of the worst experiences I've had in my life. I will NEVER eat,look or recommend this restaurant. Lack of integrity, morals, empathy,sympathy,customer service and prejudice. This is my opinion. To Chef Bo and your son, thank you for making my mom's day special

    The hamburger was not seasoned at all. When brought to the management attention he stated we don't do comps (did not ask for a comp or was expecting one) and that I should have asked for salt and pepper when ordering food. The manger was dismissive, talked over me and made what could have been a simple fix a very unpleasant experience.

    Appetizer was overcooked (Coconut Shrimp) Medium Rare Filet Mignon was burnt on edges and raw in center Chicken Fried Steak had no seasoning at all, not even salt and pepper Waitress was very nice but you need a new chef for Sunday evening dinner hour. Cannot recommend TLC to anyone.

    The fresh trout was overcooked, but all other food was great: chicken fried steak, burger, quesadilla. We had reservations at 2:30 which was a great time to get there. A bit difficult to find due to I30 construction, but worth the effort. Diverse menu; if you din’t find something you like, you’re not hungry.

    Steaks severely under cooked and cold, bread hard as a rock, salmon was cold and gummy only good thing about meal was the water was cold.

We did look into ticket times for Sunday the 9th and found that the longest ticket time was 36 minutes. We have know idea what went wrong.     My chicken fried steak was under cooked in the middle. Husband chicken fried chicken which 3 people order was over cook and burn on bottom. Friend steak was suppose to be med well but was hard and burn on top, cook came out to tell us how it was suppose to be very rude send back, got shrimp for replacement and they was burn now how do you burn shrimp, macaroni and cheese taste very cheesy and blend and cold, mash potatoes we’re not real mashed potatoes they were instant potatoes so they were very watery, chips and cheese was good the Alfredo macaroni was good, Cherry limeade was water down bill was $209 we paid but was not Worth the price at all could’ve went somewhere else left there and ate somewhere else, waiter didn’t care the host was very pushy and rude. The place was very cold but clean. If you like blend and undercook or over cooked food great place to go! The onion rings was good as well. I would suggest burgers from this place which we didn’t order. I paid the tap cause I suggest the place to friends and family so I would want them paying for that mess we had at ours table. Overall took mom to somewhere else to eat for birthday right after SMH.

The Chef wasn't trying to be rude he was just trying to fix the issues that you were complaining about. We regret any improper food temps and we hope you find it in your heart to give us another try.     T was our waitress she was doing the best she could with no help. I was told the kitchen was backed up which is ridiculous it wasn't even busy, they just had a party and if yall knew that you should have planned accordingly to accommodate the party and others. It took over an hour to get the food, we gathered our belongings and as soon as we were standing up to LEAVE the food came. Food was ok....jalapeno peppers were undercooked SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED 🤮 yes they were huge but overcooked bacon with undercooked jalapeños is not how I'm use to eating them. the pomegranate drink tasted like alkerseltzer just fizz.

    Kids running around screaming. No silverware when food came. Had to go find salt and pepper. No ketchup until fries were gone. Spent over $400 on this meal. We'll find a better place next time.

    The view was nice and just what we needed for the night but the food was ok. Service was ok also kid was nice but didn’t know the menu that well and even brought us out the wrong thing. But overall was just a nice place to go and chill for a bite.

    Queso was excellent. We had fajitas and chicken Marsala both delicious. Cocktails a bit small for the price but good. Nice night on the patio overlooking the lake.

    Waitstaff very young and inexperienced. Waited a long time to get drinks we ordered before food. Had to pay extra for bread before meal.

In time they will be great servers. It just takes patience. As for your statement of having to pay extra for bread the you ordered before your meal. Was your expectation to get free food? We are not sure that that is a valid complain.

    Food was not good. My rice was hard and crunchy and shrimp were not good tasting. Actually I was very disappointed in there service. My ordered chicken friend chicken, he got a chicken fried steak. It took too long to order and had to get a to go box! I won't return...

    Food was absolutely disgusting. Very disappointing, instant mash potatoes, over cooked sides, over priced for the quality. Out of 6 offered desserts they only had 2 options actually available. We were celebrating our moms birthday and nothing was done. Service was slow when it wasn’t even that busy. Was my first and last time for sure. Do not recommend

    First time to TLC and I decided to meet some friends there that were staying nearby. The food was wonderful and the service was as well. I certainly would come back again. Hopefully next time will be able to sit out on the patio to enjoy the water view a little better when it's not like an inferno. I had the rainbow trout and it was wonderful!
